She has good length that allows her to challenge the defense well and given her veteran role and experience, she has potential to score for her team from both sides of the net. At 6'2, she can improve the quality of her swings by adding a higher and more dynamic elbow that will help increase her contact point. [player_tooltip player_id="154968" first="Carly" last="Dyer"] - 5’9 | MH/OH | Huntington Dyer is a multi-sport athlete for the Huntsmen and is making big contributions on the volleyball court as she and her team are off to a fast 3-0 start. They have good balance and production offensively with Dyer seeing the most attempts and currently among the top three averaging 3.9 kills per set. She recently put down 16 kills while hitting .433 in a 3-0 sweep over Western. She has good lift and elevation off the floor and swings with a high elbow. She is coming off a good club season and has started strong this fall as she is leading her Hoover squad offensively at 2.9 kills per set and a team high .359 efficiency. [player_tooltip player_id="154967" first="Taylor" last="Ullrich"] - 6’0 | MH | Dayton Christian Ullrich is fun to watch. She is athletic with good quickness and is very active around the net. She is a primary arm for Dayton Christian and works hard to make herself available for her opportunities. She can create a high contact point that has been a big asset thus far as she is terminating over three kills per set while hitting at a solid .391 efficiency. On the defensive side she is averaging three blocks per match.
