Starting today, our Washington Commitment Updates series will keep you posted about the future of some of the most interesting players from the Evergreen State, which have accepted offers and committed their futures to colleges around the United States.
Eva Atkins – Middle Blocker/Opposite – HS: Roosevelt – Club: DaKine Warriors – 2022
Eva Atkins is probably one of the best offensive players in the entire state due to her physical power and her ability to play as a middle blocker or opposite. The 6’3” prospect typically plays in the middle for her high school, Roosevelt, where she produced 210 kills and 97 blocks in 2019, but has recently moved to the right with her club team DaKine Warriors, experiencing a similar level of success. The future of her career will be at the prestigious Columbia University.
Madeline Gebers Madeline Gebers 5'10" | S Kennewick | 2021 State WA – Setter/Outside Hitter – HS: Kennewick – Club: Shockwave VBC – 2021
Being good at multiple different things is not big deal for Madeline Gebers Madeline Gebers 5'10" | S Kennewick | 2021 State WA . A six-footer, the prospect has been a stud as a setter for her high school team Kennewick for three years, but also succeeded as an outside hitter for her club Shockwave Volleyball Club. At the same time, she played volleyball, she also worked on basketball and track and field, two sports she’ll continue playing at the Spokane Falls Community College as a multi-sport student-athlete.
Isabella Hadaller – Outside Hitter – HS: Kelso – Club: Excel NW – 2022
A force at the net, the 6’1” Isabella Hadaller has been a scoring machine for her high school team Kelso during the most part of her high school career, earning multiple All-State and All-League teams. With a rare combination of size and technique, the outside hitter has also enjoyed a lot of success with her club team Excel Northwest besides playing tournaments in the sand as well. She’ll have a chance to remain in touch with the beach for years to come after recently committing to the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
