2022 State Rankings Additions – Vol 6

<p>We are super excited about this update to the State Rankings.  We now have the top 150 players across the Lone Star State ranked and are proud to bring them to you.  We have written about some of these athletes before, however we are going to now re-introduce them once again but now with their much deserved overall State Ranking attached to their name.  For the new athletes that we have not written about yet, we are excited to officially welcome them to the Rankings.  Congratulate them on social media or in person the next time you see them. Welcome to the list ladies…</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="151753" first="Elaina" last="Amador"] [2022] 5-8 Libero (HS: Flower Mound/Club: MADSand Beach/Verbal: Stephen F Austin {Beach})</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Elaina to the State Rankings.  We have her listed as the 107^thbest overall prospect in the 2022 class. She plays high school volleyball for powerhouse Flower Mound and club for MADSand Beach program.  She excels in both indoor and outdoor volleyball, which is a very tough thing to do since the sports are very different.  Her overall ball control has really helped her become a total player around the court.  Elaina has been on varsity for three years now and is a big reason why they are currently 29-3 and 6-0 in district.  In her three-year indoor career she has tallied 639 digs, 754 service receptions, and also 45 aces.  She has verbally committed to playing beach volleyball at Stephen F Austin.  The future Lumberjack will be a fantastic addition to their new sand program as she has tons of high level experience.  Please congratulate her on being named one of the top players in the Lone Star State.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="151746" first="Allie" last="Hair"] [2022] 6-0 Middle (HS: Liberty Hill/Club: Austin Juniors/ Verbal: Lamar University)</strong></p> <p>Allie is currently ranked as the 113^thoverall prospect in the 2022 class according to our State Rankings.  She is a solid middle from Liberty High School and the nationally recognized Austin Juniors club volleyball program from the Lone Star Region.  This kid packs a serious punch on her attack.  She is known for absolutely throttling the ball when she gets ahold of it.  She runs her routes with authority and with purpose.  I love how she runs her slides and how she can not only hit them cross, but allow the ball to stay on her hitting arm to hit line, which is extremely difficult as most players overrun the ball.  Some players you can watch and be in awe of their play and Miss Hair is for sure one of them.  Grab your popcorn and take a seat as you will be in for a show when you stop by her court. She is committed to playing volleyball at Lamar University and they are getting someone who will have the crowd roaring with excitement.  Please welcome her to the State Rankings and congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the state of Texas. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="152996" first="Avery" last="Fowler"] [2022] 5-8 Setter (HS: Oak Ridge/Club: TAV Houston/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Avery is currently ranked as the 125^thbest overall class of 2022 prospect according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.  We profiled her a few months ago when we wrote a feature article on her.  Here is a little refresher on what we said, <em>“She is a smooth setter who can do it all on the court for her teams.  She is a tremendous leader for her team and is a fierce competitor on the court.  She has a great feel for the position as she is accustomed to running a 5-1 for almost every team she plays for.  As a setter, this young lady can push the ball with ease to any location and consistently hit her target over and over. I watched her move the ball around so well to all of her hitters whether the team was in-system or not.  We love her athleticism and her ability to jump set from anywhere on the court.  So far in her two-year career on varsity at Oak Ridge, Miss Fowler has amassed 890 assists, 542 digs, 83 kills, and 67 aces.  Last year she helped Oak Ridge to a 19-5 overall record and a 7-3 district record. Due to her play she was awarded 1^stTeam All-District and 2^ndTeam All County.  We have a feeling that she will have a great senior season and will be keeping a close eye on her.”   </em>Her coaches and club directors speak very highly of her and that says a lot.  We watched her play at Nationals this summer in Vegas and were thoroughly impressed.  We will be writing about her a few times as we think she can play at the next level and be a game changer for a program.  Stay tuned for another article soon highlighting what she has done for her school team this season.  We are very happy to have her in the state rankings and look forward to covering the rest of her senior season.  Please help us congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the state of Texas.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We will be publishing more articles daily to give the recognition to each athlete that has earned the right to be called a top 150 Texas Volleyball Player.  Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes. If you have anyone you think we should watch out for or that you think have what it takes to be added to our database, please shoot me an email with some info at nov8vb@yahoo.com</p>
