<p><em>Offense</em></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="107399" first="Julia" last="Hunt"]</strong> - 2024 | Holy Cross<br />
Hunt is athletic and physical at the net and continues to garner a lot of attention from opponents and their defensive planning as well as from college coaches as she is one of the top prospects in the 2024 class in the country. Her ability to get up and over the block when hitting, combined with the versatility in her attack points, make her very tough to defend. She currently leads the state in total kills on the season with 285 for an average of 5.8 kills per set. The volume of work is supported well by her efficiency has she is terminating just over half of her attempts while hitting .329. She is also among leaders in total blocks on the defensive side with 71 at this point of the season.</p>
<p><strong>CC Shick</strong> - 2022 | Highlands<br />
The senior middle and right side is among the state’s leaders in total kills with 257 and is averaging 3.6 kills per set. Shick is left-handed and brings good pressure as an attacker with her offensive experience at the middle and opposite positions. She is the Bluebirds’ top offensive option as she leads her team in total attempts and is terminating at nearly 40% of her opportunities.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="107423" first="Alivia" last="Skidmore"]</strong> - 2024 | St. Henry<br />
The sophomore has seen increased opportunities in recent weeks given the absence of one of the Crusaders’ top offensive threats. She has a total of 187 kills on the season and is averaging 3.3 kills per set. She is also among the state’s top four in hitting percentage at .382. The 5’10 outside has good versatility in her offensive tools, but it is her athleticism and physicality in her approach work and lift off the floor that help her to terminate nearly 50% of her opportunities. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68136" first="Lucy" last="Trump"]</strong> - 2022 | Ryle<br />
Trump will be headed to Notre Dame next season. She continues to produce at a big rate offensively for Ryle as she has 219 kills on the season with an average of 4.3 per set. She has a physical arm and is among the heaviest hitters in the state. She was one of two northern Kentucky prospects to be among the 37 athletes across the country to be invited to the recent USA Volleyball U18 national training program. </p>
<p><em>Defense</em></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68129" first="Abby" last="Schaefer"]</strong> - 2022 | St. Henry<br />
The Western Kentucky commit is among the best in the state at the libero position. She plays the role with good vision and intention as she can create a lot of opportunities for her team off of her platform. When healthy, this team has big upside and can put a lot of offensive pressure on teams when in system and Schaefer is a big part of that aspect. The 5’8 senior is averaging nearly five digs per set for the 21-5 Crusaders.</p>
<p><strong>Sophia Sarakatsannis</strong> - 2022 | Highlands<br />
The senior is averaging 3.8 digs per set and has five matches in which she collected 20 or more digs total. She also is a big threat from the service line as she has earned 41 total service aces so far this season. She is a complete player for the Bluebirds has she has ability to contribute in a variety of areas of the game.</p>
<p><em>Setting</em></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="156617" first="Cora" last="Taylor"]</strong> - 2022 | St. Henry<br />
Taylor is just one of five Kentucky setters to amass over 500 total assists so far this season. When her team is healthy, she has a solid arsenal of offensive options. Offensively, her distribution and leadership has helped guide the Crusaders to a 12.2 kills per set average and a .241 offensive efficiency. At 5’10, she has good size and jumps very well as a setter to make contributions on both sides of the ball. At the net, she can be offensive herself as well as put up a block that can apply good pressure upon opposing hitters. Defensively, she is averaging nearly two blocks per match. Taylor is committed to Butler. </p>
