<p>Undefeated Central Hardin (22-0) is a contender for the 2021 Region 5 championship. </p>
<p>The Bruins have notched wins over multiple fellow region title contenders and continue to boast momentum in the second half of the 2021 high school volleyball regular season. </p>
<p>Central Hardin will enter the postseason in mid-October. </p>
<p>Here are three Central Hardin players to watch. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106694" first="Addie" last="Atcher"]</strong> (Jr., Outside Hitter): One of the state’s top players in the 2023 class, Atcher excels in the front row. A strong and productive hitter from the left side, Atcher is a longtime leader for the Bruins. Atcher adjusts well to sets coming from any location and thrives when hitting from both the front row and back row. </p>
<p><strong>Lauren Vest</strong> (Sr., Libero): A defensive standout, Vest continues to deliver for the Bruins. Vest possesses solid defensive skills and passing skills. A hardworking libero, Vest has consistently shown the ability to deliver from both the back row and the front row. Vest turns the first touch into a solid pass to the setter regularly. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="104554" first="Lindsey" last="Vest"]</strong> (Sr., Setter): A vocal leader who possesses strong communication skills, Vest is athletic and covers the court extensively. Vest runs the offense efficiently and identifies blockers successfully. Agile, Vest makes quick decisions on the court routinely. In addition, Vest delivers regularly when she digs and blocks on defense.</p>
