2023 Players to Watch Vol 2

<p>We now have the top 140 players in the Lone Star State ranked in the 2023 grad class.  We are extremely excited to welcome these ladies to such a prestigious group. These ladies have been on the list for a while now and we are hearing some great things about them during the high school season.  Congratulate them on social media or in person the next time you see them. Welcome to the list ladies…</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="141250" first="Emma" last="Wegleitner"] [2023] 6-0 Outside (HS: Boerne Champion/Club: San Antonio Magic/Verbal: Grand Canyon University)</strong></p> <p>Emma is currently listed as the 80^thbest overall prospect in the 2023 Rankings.  Miss Wegleitner plays for Champion High School out of Boerne, which is just outside of the San Antonio area and also for a great club program, Alamo out of the Lone Star Region.  She is a solid offensive threat to any competitor who steps in front of her. This season at Champion she currently has 77 kills on a .201 hitting percentage and has also contributed 88 digs and 6 aces.  She is a true threat anywhere on the volleyball court and her defense is a big reason why.  Her all around game will translate to the college game very well seeing that she can add offense from the back row as well as either pin.  We want to welcome her with open arms to our State Ranking List and can’t wait to watch her progress in the future.  Please congratulate her on the achievement of being a top Texas volleyball player. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="141137" first="Autumn" last="Perry"] [2023] 5-9 Outside (HS: Prince of Peace/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Autumn is currently listed as the 82^ndbest overall prospect in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.  Miss Perry plays at Prince of Peace High School and also club for the always dominant Dallas Skyline Volleyball program. In two years on varsity she already has 711 kills, .206 hitting percentage, 512 digs, 88 blocks, and 86 aces.  She is a high flyer who can bang with anyone in the state.  She runs a very mean second tempo attack out of the middle during play-sets.  She is also no stranger to getting easy kills tooling the block out of bounds.  This dynamo packs a solid punch and scores at a high clip on the left side pin.  Miss Perry is a true six-rotation player who will help out any team in serve receive and defense.  Stay tune for more from Autumn as we will keep our eye on her closely over the next few years.  Please congratulate her on being part of the Prep Dig State Rankings.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="87550" first="Kinleigh" last="Hall"] [2023] 5-9 Outside (HS: Hallettsville/Club: Texstar/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Kinleigh is currently ranked as the 85^thbest overall prospect in the 2023 class.  She is a great pin hitter from Hallettsville High School and also plays club for Texstar volleyball club out of the Lone Star Region.  This stud has tallied 84 kills on an impressive  .440 hitting percentage and also added 27 blocks.  She is special because she is a two-sport star as she also plays basketball for her high school.  This dual sport stud is a very athletic young lady who has a lot of skill in both sports. She has her high school ranked in the 3A polls and her offense is a big reason why.  She is always filling up the stat books and helping her team rally against their competition.  We are happy to have her in the Rankings.  Please congratulate her on being named one of the top volleyball players in the state.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We have tons of new players to introduce you to that got added to our 2023 rankings with the new update and tons who moved up and down the list.  We will be publishing more articles daily to give the recognition to each athlete that has earned the right to be called a top 140 Texas Volleyball Player.  Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes.  If you have anyone you think we should watch out for or that you think have what it takes to be added to our database, please shoot me an email with some info at nov8vb@yahoo.com</p>
