Four 2024 Region 7 Defensive Specialists On the Rise
<p>Young defensive specialists, including multiple individuals that are from the Class of 2024, have contributed for Region 7 teams throughout the 2021 high school volleyball season.</p>
<p>Louisville features several talented Class of 2024 volleyball players, some of whom are defensive specialists. </p>
<p>Here are four 2024 defensive specialists on the rise. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="107431" first="Brooklyn" last="Campisano"]</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist for Assumption High School. Campisano was a reliable contributor her prep team in the 2021 high school volleyball season. Quick, Campisano moves well and covers the court thoroughly, making challenging digs often. </p>
<p><strong>Charley Hill</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist for Christian Academy-Louisville. Hill has demonstrated the ability to dig and pursue well in the first half of her prep career. A productive back row hitter, Hill is athletic and has shown the ability to provide defense regularly.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="107406" first="Hailee" last="Mack"]</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist for Sacred Heart Academy. Mack, who has taken on a larger role for state title contender contender Sacred Heart Academy, continues to deliver. A consistent player with strong athleticism, Mack has shown quick reactions as a sophomore. </p>
<p><strong>Ellie Melton</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist for DuPont Manual High School. Melton has solid ball control and communication skills that allow her to excel as a defensive specialist. Fast, Melton has strong passing and digging skills. </p>
