Olivia Babcock Olivia Babcock 6'3" | OH Sierra Canyon | 2023 State #13 Nation CA , 6-3 Outside/Right Side, Jr, Sierra Canyon – The Trailblazers handled San Clemente in straight sets in Division 1 second round action behind a big outing from Babcock. The junior powered the offense by recording 19 of the team’s 43 kills. She hit .410 on 39 swings. Her four blocks tied for second most, and her 9 digs were second most.
Andrea Torres Andrea Torres 5'8" | OH Otay Ranch | 2024 CA , 5-10 Outside, Soph, Otay Ranch – The Mustangs swept Oxnard in Division 3 second round play last week. Torres produced a team-high 12 kills while hitting .556 on 18 swings. She also had 7 digs. It was Torres’ second-highest hitting percentage on the season with at least 18 swings.
Hannah Baker Hannah Baker 5'10" | OH Exeter | 2023 CA , 5-10 Outside, Jr, Exeter – Baker had a role in just about everything as the Monarchs took care of Irvine in straight sets in Division 4 second round action. Baker turned in team highs in kills (11) and digs (18). She also added 2 aces and a block. It was her fifth consecutive game with at least 10 digs.
Isabella Taueetia, 5-9 Right Side/Outside, Jr, Wiseburn-Da Vinci – The Wolves were straight-set winners over Pacifica Christian (Orange County) in Division 5 second round play and relied on Taueetia to do it. The junior finished with a team-high 11 kills and hit .385 on 26 swings. She also had 6 digs. It was her eighth straight match reaching double digits in kills.
Taryn Saunders, 6-1 Middle Blocker, Sr, Chino Hills – It was on the defensive side where Saunders showed up large as the Huskies downed Torrance in four sets in Division 3 play. She matched her season high with 9 blocks, a mark she achieved two previous times this season.
Malena Thé, 5-8 Outside, Jr, Chino Hills – Thé played an instrumental role as well as the junior came through with a double-double. She sent down 10 kills and hit .357 while also getting 13 digs. She also had 3 blocks. It was The’s third consecutive double-double.
