<p>The state playoffs are winding down this week. However, we take a look back at Saturday’s top performances from the So Cal participants.</p>
<p><strong>Paige Gutowski, 5-8 Libero/DS, Sr, Chino Hills</strong> – The Huskies upset top-seeded Otay Ranch in five sets in the Division 3 playoffs. Gutowski played her role nicely, delivering a team-high 18 digs. It was the sixth time this season she had at least 18 digs and has at least 10 digs in 11 consecutive outings.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="160001" first="Tehya" last="Chadwick"], Outside Hitter, Sr, Chino Hills</strong> – Chadwick’s 22 kills were needed as the Huskies upset Otay Ranch. She was also efficient, hitting .327 on 49 swings. She also contributed with 12 digs, 1 ace and 1 block. It was the third time this season Chadwick had 22 kills. Her season high is 25 against Torrance.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159518" first="Elia" last="Rubin"], 6-0 Outside, Sr, Marymount</strong> – The Sailors swept Mira Costa in Open Division action over the weekend with Rubin proving hard to stop. The senior racked up 18 kills on 34 swings, hitting .382. She finished with nearly half of Marymount’s 41 kills as a team. Rubin was also second in digs with 6.</p>
<p><strong>Haven Rich, 5-6 Outside, Soph, Exeter</strong> – Rich’s double-double helped lift the Monarchs over Bishop Diego in the Division 4 playoffs. The sophomore wound up with a team-high 11 kills and 19 digs. The latter was the second-most digs on the year, one behind her season-high of 20 on Oct. 26.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="161288" first="Avery" last="Barber"], 5-9 Setter, Soph, Exeter</strong> – Barber was not only dishing the ball to the tune of 34 assists, she put up a season high with 27 digs. It was just the second time this season she had at least 20 digs.</p>
