<p>Freshman outside hitters contributed for teams throughout Region 8 during the 2021 high school volleyball season.</p>
<p>Several freshmen, some of whom are outside hitters, built momentum during the latest prep volleyball campaign. </p>
<p>Here are three 2025 Region 8 outside hitters to watch.</p>
<p><strong>Anna Benecke</strong> is a freshman outside hitter for Trimble County High School. Benecke can deliver as both a a go-to hitter and a primary passer. Comfortable playing in both the front row and the back row while producing regularly, Benecke is a strong hitter from the left side of the net. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159353" first="Ashlynn" last="Brangers"]</strong> is a freshman outside hitter for Shelby County High School. Athletic, Brangers possesses solid jumping ability and works well with the midd;le hitter on blocks. Quick-reacting, Brangers reads opposing defenses successfully. </p>
<p><strong>Lana Segeser</strong> is a freshman outside hitter for Collins High School. A reliable hitter, Sageser adjusts well to sets coming from any location and uses her athleticism to finish hits at the net. A player with solid back row skills, Segeser has the ability to hit and pass.</p>
