Therefore, here is a highlight of the ten players on BRAVO 15 Black and what they contribute to this talented team.
Ella Moss- A setter from South Warren High School, Ella Moss is one of the most hardworking individuals on this team. Moss is constantly asking her coaches how to get better and then showing her efforts on the court. She knows where the smart set is with her offense and works really well under pressure.
Adriana Huggins- The second setter on this squad, also from South Warren High School, is Adriana Huggins. She’s just one of those kids that you want in the gym to lift up your other teammates and serve as a leader on the floor. Huggins craves deep knowledge of the game from her coaches which makes for a great player.
Addi Kincheloe- If you want to find that goofy player that can also slam a ball on the ten foot line with an overpass, look no further because Kincheloe is your gal. She may be the comedian of the squad, but when it’s game time, Kincheloe knows how to bring the heat. Plus, she’s just one of the players that cares so much about the game and her performance for her teammates. You want this 5’10 Bowling Green Purple on your squad!
Katie Pennington- Just watch Katie Pennington go swing at one ball, and you’ll say the words, “Oh.” She may be 5’6, but this girl has intense power every single swing from anywhere on the court. One of her greatest strengths is her “no fear” mentality whether it’s passing, serving, or hitting. Pennington just has the pure capability to take over any game. This all around outside hitter from Tennessee will be a key player for this 15 Black squad!
Claire Lawless- From Bowling Green High School, Claire Lawless, defensive specialist, brings the smooth platform and natural ability to the squad. Her two older sisters played for BRAVO back in the day, and she quickly picked up on the game as just a little girl. Lawless is just simply gifted with her reading skills and passing capabilities. Not to mention, before school season, she played a ton of beach, and even won a bid to nationals in Clearwater! This kid just has a love for the game and an understanding unlike any other.
Betsy Roberts- Trying to find the words to describe Greenwood High School’s Betsy Roberts is very hard because of how interesting this player is. Roberts can ball out from anywhere on the court offensively, and she will give it her all no matter what. It’s a toss up on where you want Roberts in your lineup because she can impact your team from any angle.
Baileigh Young- A stud from Warren East High School, Baleigh Young will be one to watch for this crew! She recently started for the Lady Raiders all season as just a freshman and led the team in kills with 204!! Young has the flexibility to hit from anywhere on the court because of her natural approach to the ball and heavy arm swing. She is a country strong player with a ton of potential. You’ll want to watch this girl on the court!
Kiera Mobley- One of the most athletic players on the team, Kiera Mobley from Greenwood High School, will impact the team wherever she ends up. Mobley’s strength is her ability to just “fly” from anywhere on the court. Once she gets her arm swing and connection down, there will be no stopping this girl. Mark my words… Ken Marshall will shape her into an amazing player because of the amount of natural athleticism and sheer potential this kid has!
Avery Jones- A positive leader on and off the floor, Avery Jones, will be a crucial part of this team’s success. Jones is that defensive specialist that would run through a wall if you told them to and never stop. She’s hardworking, passionate for the game, and determined to get better at the sport she loves. Plus, you can always catch her with a smile on her face and lifting her teammates up with positivity. This South Warren Spartan is just a blessing to watch when she plays the game!
Ally Greenwell- Lastly, from Bowling Green High School, Ally Greenwell will help the 15 Black team offensively. She has a killer natural cut shot that will take teams by surprise, and Greenwell knows how to take care of the ball. You want at least one clear-headed, focused player on your team, and this would definitely be her. She wants to be the best for her teammates, and that’s what makes this kid special!
