There’s tons of talent in every position, and with these awesome coaches, the potential is just endless. Ross and Wallace know how to build these girls up with positivity, create confidence, and instill this mindset in their game play! They treat their team as family which is truly something special. Here are some studs to watch from BRAVO 15 Red.
Aubrey Sharp- If you want to find one of the quickest little players out there, just try and look for Aubrey Sharp from Bowling Green High School. This defensive specialist will be a key player for the squad because of how fast she is in defense but also her determined mindset to not let the ball hit the floor. Sharp brings the word, “hustle,” to a whole other level and will only continue to get better this year under Ross and Wallace.
Hester Wallace- An outside hitter from Tennessee, Hester Wallace will bring the offensive guns to this team. Wallace is never afraid to hit the ball as hard as she can and will make that smart play in the time you need it the most. Her athleticism allows her approach to look effortless, and then her arm swing just does the rest of the work. Wallace is a fun one to watch because of her positive attitude on the floor and the fact that she’s usually always smiling.
Victoria Alfaya- A silent leader from Greenwood High School, Victoria Alfaya will help the team as the starting setter. Alfaya is a great player because of her ability to do it all. She recently hit and played all the way around for her school team, and now she will most likely set a 5’1 for the 15 Red squad. Alfaya’s speciality is her ability to finish her sets and accurately put her hitters where they need to be. On the court, she shows great composure and focus while being extremely coachable.
Taylor Brock- From South Warren High School, Taylor Brock will definitely be a threat in the middle position. Her fast approach and live arm is tough to beat, but what’s even more impressive about this kid is her want to get better. She is constantly asking her coaches what she needs to change or improve on, and it really shows in her game play. Brock will only improve as she gets faster and older because her work ethic is unlike any other!
Alyssa Haggerty- The last player to highlight, Alyssa Haggerty, is also from South Warren High School. Haggerty is an interesting kid because she can play so many positions. For school ball and club season last year, she was an outside and played all the way around, but this year she may be transitioning to a defensive specialist. Whatever position she does play, Haggerty always gives 110%. You can tell in serve receive that Haggerty focuses on the basics to get her feet there and platform on the target line which is rare to find. Haggerty will be a key player for the 15 Red squad!
