The club is directed by Dustin Rockrohr and has provided great success over the years for a small city. Starting the BRAVO series, here is a list of players to watch out for on the 18 Black team!
Lily-Kate Carver- First glance with Lily-Kate Carver and you think she’s just a DS, but this 5’8 baller can impact the team from anywhere on the court. Carver just finished up her junior season with the Bowling Green High School Lady Purples where she helped the team as an all around outside hitter, ending with 320 kills, 212 digs, and 56 service aces. It will be interesting to see where Coach Jeff Whitson and Jamie Curry will put this stud because she can help the team offensively and defensively!
Maddie Rockrohr Maddie Rockrohr 5'6" | OH South Warren | 2022 State KY – Senior outside hitter from South Warren High School, Maddie Rockrohr Maddie Rockrohr 5'6" | OH South Warren | 2022 State KY will be a key player for this BRAVO 18 Black squad! Watching Rockrohr go up and casually just jump out of the gym is something that never gets old. Rockrohr led her high school team with 189 kills and was a force to watch in the front row. As you may tell from her last name, Maddie is a director’s legacy! Rockrohr’s last year with BRAVO is something special for everyone in the club and will be a fun player to watch this 2022 season.
Paige Logsdon- The third outside to the key trio is Paige Logsdon, junior, from South Warren High School. Logsdon played with Rockrohr in high school season and also played with Carver in her past 5 years at BRAVO which means all of their chemistry is just unmatched. In high school, Logsdon added 153 kills for the Spartans and became a leader when she was on the floor. Logsdon is just one of those naturally gifted players who simply loves the game, and that’s what makes her such a great player.
Reese Payne- A Tennessee kid from Jo Byrns High School, this 6’2 middle, Reese Payne, will be a key addition to the BRAVO 18 Black squad. Payne is a multi-sport athlete where she excels in not only volleyball but basketball too. Her athleticism does only take her so far, but if you watch Payne, she is constantly involved in every play and makes that big time block when you need it the most. Payne recently committed to Trevecca University to continue her academic and athletic career!
Ashley Marshall- Lastly, another Tennessee player from Greenbrier High School, Ashley Marshall, will be a stud in the back row for the team. Just like Payne, Marshall also plays basketball, but unlike Payne, Marshall is a little defensive specialist who flies around everywhere. Marshall is that kid that can talk your ear off on the sidelines but knows when the time is right, it’s all about balling out and digging balls! Watch out for this little defensive machine in the back row.
