<p><strong><u>Rankings Update: 2022 New Additions</u></strong><em> </em></p>
<p><span style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;">Our Class of 2022 Rankings were updated today, and we managed to find a lot of new prospects to keep an eye on.</span><strong><u><span style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;"> </span></u></strong></p>
<p>Here are the top 10 new names making their way onto our updated rankings! </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="169780" first="Giovanna" last="Waters"] – 5’8 – Pin Hitter – Concordia Academy – Northern Lights 18-2 – Committed to Quincy University </strong></p>
<p>Waters enters at #72 in our rankings. The Concordia Academy outside hitter made some really positive gains to land a spot with Quincy University next fall and a spot on the Northern Lights 18-2s team for the 2022 club season. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="169072" first="Ivy" last="Wadzink"] – 5’9 – Setter – Cambridge-Isanti – MN Juniors </strong></p>
<p>Wadzink demonstrated her ability to not only run an offense but also take a swing. The Cambridge-Isanti product wasted no time showing off her hustle at the Prep Dig MN Top250 landing her a spot at #85 in our rankings. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="169925" first="Grace" last="Banse"] – 5’7 – Outside Hitter – Mankato West </strong></p>
<p>Banse breaks in at #90 in our latest rankings. Banse’s aggressive attacking helped the Scarlets land in the middle of the Big 9, and she’s demonstrated the capability to swing from both pins and use high hands of the block, find the line, or roll into the middle of the court for a kill. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="169967" first="Ava" last="Carlson"] – Outside Hitter - Cloquet </strong></p>
<p>Product of Class AAA Cloquet, Carlson finds herself ranked #92 in the state. She has a high contact point, heavy swing, and was a driving force on the pin this season, earning a spot on the Class AAA All-State team. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="169924" first="Tessa" last="McGrane"] – 5’3 – Libero – Alexandria </strong></p>
<p>McGrane is another talented Class AAA player who earned herself recognition on the All-State ballot. She stands out with her court awareness, ability to take the second ball, and being strong in serve-receive. The Alexandria standout joins our rankings at #95. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="169922" first="Anna" last="Molstad"] – 5’10 – Pin Hitter – New Prague </strong></p>
<p>Molstad enters the rankings at #96. Her adaptability at the net stands out, as she can swing from either pin and play any defensive spot in the back row. The New Prague standout has proven to be a terminator and earned herself All-State recognition.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="169923" first="Abby" last="Molstad"] – 5’7 – Setter – New Prague </strong></p>
<p>Molstad moves into our rankings at #102 following a solid high school career. She’s taken her game to another level with a quick release, fast hands and feet, and giving her hitters so many opportunities. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="169931" first="Alison" last="French"] – 5’4 – Libero – Winona Cotter </strong></p>
<p>Winona Cotter product, French ran the backcourt in 2021 after no 2020 season and a decent sophomore year in 2019. This is one of those situations where you wonder what could have been with that season in 2020 because even without it, she tallied over 1,000 career digs. French, a Class AA All-State recipient, enter the rankings at #108. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="169930" first="Emily" last="Bredman"] – 5’11 – Middle Blocker - Barnesville </strong></p>
<p>Bredman, #109 in our rankings, showcased her abilities in her 2021 season for Barnesville and earned a spot on the Class AA All-State team. Her aggressive approach and variety of approach routes make her very hard to stop, and she’s got a great press and seal across the net to make her a formidable blocker. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="169770" first="Maria" last="Chapman"] – 5’5 – Libero – East Ridge – Northern Lights 18 Black </strong></p>
<p>Chapman enters our rankings at #111. She is part of a deep roster of strong and speedy defenders at East Ridge. She has been a major force in the backcourt for Northern Lights, giving her squad a great first contact, hustle, and a knack for chasing down balls that go off her blocker’s hands. </p>
