5 Class of 2023 Players To Watch

<p>As the club season is underway, we continue our introductions with some of the top standouts from the Class of 2023. Check out the five players to watch out for below.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="161445" first="Julia" last="Blyashov"], 6-2 OH, Wave</strong> – Part of the Wave 17 Julianna team that should contend for a national championship, Blyashov has an incredible ability to score. She opens the court up whether back or front row and is a weapon opposing defenses must always track.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="161495" first="Mele" last="Corral-Blagojevich"], 6-1 OH, Mizuno Long Beach</strong> – What Corral-Blagojevich brings to the court is a physical presence. She’s able to overpower blocks and back row defenders. She’s also capable of going on service runs with her powerful serves.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="160016" first="Claire" last="Little"], 6-2 OH, Coast</strong> – A BYU commit, Little is long and sees the court well. That allows her to be effective on the attack. Combine that with a variety of shots and she’s difficult to stop.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="160346" first="Auburn" last="Tomkinson"], 6-4 RS, Wave</strong> – Another member of Wave 17s, Tomkinson carries a ton of upside. For now, her height is a major weapon. With it, she can hit over the block with ease. On the flip side, she’s also able to put up a big block and help slow down the opposing outsides. She’s committed to Texas.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159523" first="Torrey" last="Stafford"], 6-0 OH, Sunshine</strong> – Stafford flashed her athletic ability early in her club career and has continued to expand her game. She gets off the ground with effortlessly and it gives her the opportunity to hit over blocks or tool them. She’s been working on her passing skills as well and is committed to Pitt.</p>
