Setters to Watch at the PD Resolution Part 1: 17/18s Division

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Setters have an incredibly tough job. They need to be athletic, have great court awareness, and understand what is happening on the court at all times. Setters are often called the “quarterbacks” of the team because they are leaders and run the offense.&nbsp;</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">There will be some very talented setters competing in the 17/18s division of the Prep Dig Resolution.&nbsp;</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Here are some setters to watch!</span> <h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="81271" first="Jordan" last="Karlen"] - Capital 18 Adidas - Committed to Tennessee Tech&nbsp;</span></h3> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Jordan is an incredibly talented setter who brings the whole package. She is smart, gritty, and athletic. Jordan can run the offense out of all six rotations and will not miss a beat. She is playing up a year and absolutely deserves it. Andi brings a lot of energy to the court and can place the ball exactly where she wants it. She has great endurance and is very fast to react to the ball. She is a great setter who is determined and competitive on the court. Skye moves the ball around and is always setting her hitters up for success. She is a huge energizer on the court and a natural leader. Her communication is very high level. She has a very high volleyball IQ and moves the ball around like a seasoned pro. She makes it her mission to better the ball on every play and is a great leader for her team. She is a great setter but also has a very powerful swing and is gritty on defense. Sophia doesn't just play, she competes. And she gives everything on every point. She moves across the court quickly and efficiently and has very clean hands and form. She is a very smart setter and knows the strengths of her hitters and her team. She does a good job transforming every ball she gets into a great option for her hitters. She has a lot of experience on the court at both the club and high school levels. Cora also has a great swing and competitive serve. She is a very dynamic athlete who is well-rounded and competitive in all of her skills. She has great form and is very disciplined on the court. Hannah is great on defense out of right-back and makes a lot of exciting defensive plays. She is smart and has a great connection with her hitters. Her ability to react quickly on plays and make smart decisions in a split second is impressive.
