There were some standout OH/OPP that caught my attention with their skill set and how they continuously moved across the court.
Abygale Lester- Chicago Elite 18 United
Lester stood out with her ability with having nice sets and the blocks that she contributed with her team. Lester is a very strong willed athlete, with her ability to stick and move across the court and having the ability to assist in any means necessary. Lester started off her season with a bang, and it is without a doubt known that she is a firecracker on the court.
Patrycja Jarzabek- Chicago Elite 18 United
Jarzabek has killer moves when it comes to her athleticism she displays out on the court. Both on the offensive and defensive sides of the court. Her swings are strong and consistent on the court. She stands out with her movement along the net and how she manages to move with the ball. Strong swings, a strong and consistent foundation keeps her form and athleticism in tack and is going to be something to continue watching this season.
Lexie Hinderliter- 1st Alliance 18 Black
Hinderliter is a very diverse athlete and with that she stands out on the court and her talent falls right with that. Her blocking stood out most, as she moves very fluently and naturally along the net. She has nice height off the floor, however, she manages to be able to have a natural and strong swing when she is floating off the net. Her approach to the net and her swings are consistent, which make her catch your eye even more.
Zoe Watts Zoe Watts 5'9" | OH De LaSalle | 2022 IL – 1st Alliance 18 Black
Watts is one athlete that I have been following over the last few seasons thus far, and she continues to out prove herself every-time. Watts has a strong swing and her form is beautiful, from her start to the follow through. Her blocking is fair, however, the focus that she has on the ball and the movement is evident that she is always there when needed. Her movement is strong and she is able to read the floor very well.
Kaylee Born- Chicago Elite 18 United
Born is a very strong hitter and has a very strong swing on her. She explodes on the floor and has a very fluent movement when moving along the court and being able to read the ball and the floor well. She has a very convincing swing on approach and Born is going to be an athlete to continue watching for the remainder of the season.
