<p>Junior outside hitters were among the 14th Region players that built momentum during the 2021 high school volleyball season. </p>
<p>Here are three 2023 14th Region outside hitters on the rise.</p>
<p><strong>Courtney Haynes</strong> is a junior outside hitter from Powell County High School. Athletic, Haynes possesses strong jumping ability and has shown explosiveness at the net. Haynes can be both a go-to hitter and a primary passer from her position along the left side of the net. Productive, Haynes competes attack hits regularly. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="157458" first="Natalie" last="Waddell"]</strong> is a junior outside hitter/middle hitter from Knott County Central High School. Reliable and consistent, Waddell adjusts to sets coming from any location. Versatile with the skills to play multiple positions, Waddell is a consistent hitter from the front row and the back row.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="170950" first="Autumn" last="Wampler"]</strong> is a junior outside hitter from Letcher County Central High School. Wampler possesses solid back row skills and works with with the middle blocker on blocks. Quick-reacting, Wampler also reads opposing defenses successfully. </p>
