Three 2024 Region 7 Middles to Watch
Sophomore middle blockers were among the players excelling for teams throughout Region 7 during the 2021 high school volleyball season.
Here are three 2024 Region 7 middles to watch.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="107405" first="Avarie" last="Adams"]</strong> is a sophomore middle blocker from Sacred Heart Academy. Agile and athletic, Adams moves well from side to side and finishes blocks consistently. Adams works well with the opposite and outside hitter on blocks in addition to providing a strong presence along the middle of the net.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id='208891' first='Lydia' last='Fitzgibbon']</strong> is a sophomore middle blocker from Christian Academy-Louisville. A highly productive blocker, Fitzgibbon executes quick attacks on offense regularly. Reliable, Fitzgibbon has shown the ability to lead her team from the middle of the net. Athletic, Fitzgibbon possesses strong jumping ability.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id='474635' first='Ayen' last='Nhial']</strong> is a sophomore middle blocker from Seneca High School. Nhial reads the setter efficiently and adjusts her approach to get the most out of attacks. In addition Nhial is quick-reacting and moves well from side to side.
