Texas volleyball is second to none and the senior class left it all out on the court through some serious play. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to our prestigious State Rankings. Please welcome them with open arms.
Olivia Arredondo Olivia Arredondo 5'8" | S Antonian | 2022 State TX [2022] 5-8 Setter (HS: Antonian/Club: San Antonio Juniors /Verbal: Uncommitted)
We are proud to announce that we have added Olivia to the State Rankings officially. She is currently ranked as the 89th best overall prospect in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Antonian High School and for the up and coming San Antonio Juniors volleyball program. She has made several lists and had many awards for all four years of her school volleyball career. She is a very intelligent volleyball player with a strong sport IQ. Her pinpoint accuracy is matched by the softness of her hands. There is not a set that this young lady can’t hit multiple times in a row. I love how the ball flies off of her hands to the right side after pushing her to the left side of the court. She is able to give her opposite a true one on one versus the blocker. Give this kid a look if you need an accurate setter who is very quick to track the ball. She can definitely help a college program’s offense flourish. Please congratulate her on earning the honor of being named one of the best players in the State of Texas.
Kyla Malone Kyla Malone 5'11" | OH NB Canyon | 2023 State TX [2022] 5-11 Outside (HS: New Braunfels Canyon/Club: San Antonio Juniors /Signed: Incarnate Word)
We are proud to announce that Kyla has earned a spot in the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 95th best overall prospect in the state in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays at New Braunfels Canyon High School and for San Antonio Juniors out of the Lone Star Region. Kyla is a stud six-rotation pin attacker who can fly and rip the ball. She is signed on to play at the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio and will bolster their roster from the moment she steps foot on campus. The two-sport star is a fantastic basketball player for Canyon HS also. In four years on varsity in volleyball she has accumulated 1268 kills on a career .255 hitting percentage. She also had 1123 digs, 97 blocks, and 60 aces for her career. Please congratulate her on the honor, as she definitely deserves the acknowledgement of being one of the best in the State of Texas.
Kaeden Robinson Kaeden Robinson 5'5" | DS/L Brasewell | 2022 State TX [2022] 5-5 Libero (HS: Braswell/Club: Excel/Verbal: Lamar University)
Please welcome Kaeden to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 124th best overall prospect in the state in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays at Braswell High School and for Excel Volleyball out of the North Texas Region. She is a legit back row general who has some serious skills in both serve receive and defense. She is signed on to play division one volleyball at Lamar University. We watched her play in person at USA Nationals last summer in Vegas and she was a joy to watch. What stood out the most was her court coverage with amazing footwork and just how strong her entire body is while she passes serve receive. She has amazing balance due to a strong core and this will help keep her ball control super consistent throughout her career in college. Please congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the state.
