The event reunites some of the best club volleyball talent in the state of Washington and we’ll preview it by recommending five 17s teams to follow when matches start on Saturday.
Seattle Jrs 17
The team from the Seattle Jrs club based in Redmond ranks 12th in the state according to AES. They had good finishes at both the first stop of the Power League (13th) and the Annual Las Vegas Classic (17th) and currently hold a 13-10 win record for the season.

Maleah Andrews Maleah Andrews 5'4" | S Bothell | 2023 State WA – Setter – HS: Bothell – 2023
A state champion with her high school team Bothell, Maleah Andrews Maleah Andrews 5'4" | S Bothell | 2023 State WA was instrumental in the Cougars’ successful campaign, producing 625 assists, 211 digs and 37 aces in their campaign. The 5’3” setter is electric on the court and uses her quickness to get to the ball when setting and to reach it on defense. She’s excellent in turning unprecise passes or digs in hittable balls and also does a got job in setting against the flow.

Barrett Anderson Barrett Anderson 5'9" | OH Stanwood | 2023 WA – Outside Hitter – HS: Stanwood – 2023
A very complete and well-rounded outside hitter, Barrett Anderson Barrett Anderson 5'9" | OH Stanwood | 2023 WA contributes to Seattle Jrs 17’s game in a lot of different ways. Very long and athletic, she’s a reliable scoring option at the pin, but also gets to impact the game on the backcourt with her dangerous servers and her superior defensive skills. Anderson was a key player for her high school team Stanwood last season, leading them in almost every aspect of the game.
Nayella George – Middle Blocker – HS: Kamiak – 2023
A dual-sport student-athlete who also excels on a basketball court, Nayella George uses her athleticism to impact the game in a great way. She stands at 5’9” but is very mobile and can jump really well. That makes of her blocking arguably the best part of her game and she’s always in position to stop opponents at the net. She had a growing role with her high school team Kamiak last season, producing 43 kills and 46 blocks in just 43 sets.
