Uncommitted 23s Headed to the Chi-Town Classic

<p>There are some awesome athletes from the class of 2023 headed to the Chi-Town Classic. Athletes from this class will be competing in both the 18s and 17s divisions of the tournament. This class is so strong in every position and there will be some awesome head-to-head competition at the Chi-Town Classic.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="119399" first="Amelia" last="Albers"] – Libero – Capital 17 Adidas</h3> <p>Amelia is a solid libero in every skill. She has great form and ball control which helps take her game to the next level. She is dynamite on serve receive while being quick and scrappy on defense. Amelia adds a lot of value in the backcourt for this offensively talented Capital team.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="82921" first="Kaitlin" last="Schulz"] – Outside Hitter – FC Elite 17 Navy</h3> <p>Kaitlin improves every time I see her play. She has a high swing and powerful arm. Kaitlin has great range in her swings and shots. She is smart and powerful, a dangerous combination for a 6’0” pin hitter. Kaitlin is also valuable on serve receive, defense, and as a blocker.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="91936" first="Molly" last="Rohde"] – Middle Hitter – FC Elite 17 Navy</h3> <p>Molly is dynamic and fast in the middle. She has a lethal swing and is engaged in every play. She has a fast arm swing and tends to beat opposing blockers with the speed of both her approach and arm. She has a huge impact for this team and is great at running plays across the net both in front of and behind the setter</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="91883" first="Jordan" last="LaScala"] – Outside Hitter – Capital 17 Adidas</h3> <p>Jordan manufactures kills. She is dynamic and lethal across the net and in the back row. Jordan is a great 6-rotation outside hitter who is talented on defense, serve receive, and offense. She is fast and runs great plays out of the middle and from the pin.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="122520" first="Claudia" last="Merizon"] – Right Side – Impact 17 National</h3> <p>Claudia is an incredibly valuable athlete because she can do a bit of everything. She is a talented right-side hitter who utilizes every set she gets. She has a great vertical and is fast. Claudia also has a very competitive serve and is gritty and scrappy on defense. She is very well-rounded and can be utilized as a pin or defensive specialist.</p> <h3>Cayce Farrell – Setter – RVA 17 Navy</h3> <p>Cayce can set and hit on the right side very well. Where she is so valuable is in her great ball control. She has clean hands and rarely makes mistakes. Cayce is also a strong athlete and can push the ball pin to pin from all around the court. She is reliable and a natural leader on the court.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="149694" first="Samantha" last="Perlberg"] – Outside Hitter – Wisconsin Ice 17 National</h3> <p>Samantha has an explosive approach and a powerhouse swing. She is very efficient with her shots and the speed of her arm swing. Samantha has a very consistent contact on the ball. She is aggressive at the net and earns a lot of points for this talented team.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="119396" first="Kennedy" last="Schmitz"] – Defensive Specialist – FC Elite 17 Navy</h3> <p>Kennedy is a scrappy and gritty athlete in the back row. She hustles on every play but has great control on serve receive. Kennedy picks up a lot of great balls across the backline. She is competitive and adds a lot of value defensively to every team she plays on.</p> <h3>Danielle Dowe – Setter – Impact 17 National</h3> <p>Danielle has really soft hands. She moves the ball around very well and has a clean release. She is great at bettering the ball for her hitters and utilizing every hitter on the court.
