All-Star Team 17s
Sofia Veres – MVC 17-1
An undersized outside hitter but she made up for it with her speed and ability to jump. She was fast on and off the net giving her the extra momentum to elevate and take a rip on the ball. She was aggressive on defense as well, helping her team stay in system.
Bella Anzevino – MVC 17-1
A quick moving libero who could cover the whole court with ease. She stayed low on defense and was always ready for the other side to try and sneak a short tip over. She played with energy and kept her team motivated even when they were down.
Nicole Masseria – Buckeyefire Smoleny 17A
A firecracker of a libero, she was not letting anything hit the floor. Diving and making those exciting one arm plays, sliding into the bleachers. She is just the type of player that gets the fans and her team hyped up and ready to get things done.
Siiri Valesky – NOVA Juniors 17s Gold
A middle hitter that was very dynamic, running various routes with her setter and connecting well. She had a strong arm and a great block making it hard for the other side to get a quality swing. She was fast and able to transition off the net and get back to the net to swing in seconds.
Megan Scavuzzo Megan Scavuzzo 5'1" | S Highland | 2023 State OH – NOVA Juniors 17s Gold
A setter that knew just where to place the ball to give her team a great chance to score. She was fast, smart and her defense was on point, making diving saves and in system passes. She was an asset for this NOVA team.
Kennady Wiley – Mintonette m.73
