Isabella Kwan – SIVBC 18 Tsunami – HS: Newport - 2022

Isabella ‘Isa’ Kwan embodies the prototype of the diminutive setter with outstanding ball control and technique that plays a pivotal role for her team despite her small size. The 5’4” Kwan is a dynamo on the court and does an excellent job in running her team’s offense with excellent distribution and impressive consistency. Kwan is also a very good defender and registered 513 assists (8.1 per set), 29 kills and 38 aces for Newport in her senior season.

A new addition coming from Seattle Jrs, [player_tooltip player_id="97234" first="Ayla" last="Grant"] is a player that brings a lot to the table. She has good size at 5’8” and is very dynamic on the court. Grant likes to use her middle and runs a fast-paced offense with both her high school and club teams. She’s also an excellent server and very well-versed on defense and can be used as a defensive specialist too. Also a beach volleyball player, Grant produced 217 assists, 136 digs, 50 aces and 26 kills in the last high school season with Snohomish.

Isabel Cai – Seattle Jrs 16 – HS: Interlake – 2024

Isabel Cai took no time to settle with her high school team Interlake, being one of the team’s key players as a setter. Her calm demeanor on the court and consistent production make of her an ideal selection as a setter as she’s among the very best when it comes to reliability. As with the other players on this list, the 5’8” Cai is also an important asset with her serving and defensive skills. She amassed 623 assists, 184 digs and 27 aces as a sophomore.

Peyton Ensign – DaKine Warriors 15 Surf – HS: Curtis – 2025

Peyton Ensign is probably the most exciting name of the newest generation of setters coming up in the state of Washington. The 5’7” was one of the most popular names of the last high school season, when, as a freshman, she registered 1,074 assists, 269 digs and 39 aces. Her game has only gotten better during the club season and she clearly belongs in the conversation about the top 2025 prospect in the Evergreen state right now.
