Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have just made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Kaylee Peterson [2022] 5-9 Outside (HS: Decatur/Club: Muscle/Verbal: New Mexico State University)
Kaylee is currently an unranked prospect according to our Prep Dig rankings, but she has been on our watch list and should be ranked at our next update. She is a talented setter from the North Texas area. She plays for Decatur High School and also club for Muscle volleyball. What could be considered as undersized in her position, this kid has serious hops and plays well above the net. She has been a stud for Decatur high school as they have won back-to-back state championships. She is a major reason why. This high-flying left side six-rotation attacker will do wonders at the next level. We are proud to announce that she committed to playing college volleyball at New Mexico State University. Coach Mike Jordan and the Aggies got themselves a good one in Miss Peterson. We are very proud of her and we are extremely happy that she has realized her dream of playing at the next level. Please help us congratulate her on the achievement.
Eliana Zepeda [2022] 5-3 Libero (HS: Foster/Club: Katy United/Verbal: East Texas Baptist University)
Eliana is currently an unranked prospect according to our Prep Dig rankings. She plays for Foster High School and also for the Katy United volleyball club out of the west side of Houston. She is a talented defensive specialist/libero who excels at serve receive. She always has such a strong and balanced base at the point of contact, which allows consistency. I love how she holds her arms well away from her body to allow herself to create such awesome angles with her platform. We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at the East Texas Baptist University. Please help us congratulate Miss Zepeda on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.
Ashley Pearish [2022] 6-0 Middle (HS: East Central/Club: Alamo/Verbal: Texas Lutheran University)
Ashley is currently an unranked prospect according to our Prep Dig rankings. She plays for East Central High School and also for the nationally known Alamo volleyball club out of the San Antonio area. Miss Pearish is a great middle that plays well above the net and hits the ball with tons of power. I love how she has such great timing on the 31 set and is able to turn on it and thread that needle in the seam with a lot of force. But this young lady will be such a versatile player for ETBU as she is able to hit quick tempos all around the net and also higher tempos on the pins. We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at Texas Lutheran University for next season. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of player at the next level.
