Continue ReadingIt is finally here! We have the top 70 volleyball players from the 2025 class listed and ranked. We have been watching the 2025 class very closely throughout the entire high school season and used the data of wins and losses, stats, district finishes, awards, in person tournaments, matches and of course the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have also attended quite a few club tournaments already and have seen a lot of these players in action in person. After countless hours of analyzing we are proud of the list we have published. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to our prestigious State Rankings. Please welcome them with open arms.
Zoe Gillen-Malveaux Zoe Gillen-Malveaux 6'3" | MB Greenhill | 2025 State #72 Nation TX [2025] 6-3 Middle (HS: Greenhill/Club: Drive Nation/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Zoe to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 6th best overall prospect and the top middle in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. We have been lucky enough to watch her twice already this season at Volleyfest and also at the Triple Crown NIT in Kansas City. She was a big difference maker for her Drive Nation 16 Red team. Zoe has been playing up this season and she has not skipped a beat against the older competition. Her defensive presence has definitely been felt by her teammates as she can put up a big wall against all three positions along the net. Zoe already has the frame and strength to compete at the next level and she still has three more years to graduate. If you do not know her name by now, please jot it down and add it to your short list of players to recruit. She has so much upside to her game and has only begun her career. Please help us congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the State.
Kaelynn Sims Kaelynn Sims 6'0" | MB Sachse | 2025 State #88 Nation TX [2025] 6-0 Middle (HS: Garland/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Miss Simms to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 15th best overall prospect and 3rd best middle in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays at Garland High School and the nationally recognized Dallas Skyline club. I have been lucky enough to see this young lady in action a few times in person and have enjoyed every second of it. She attended out top 250 Expo in December and stole the show. Her natural athleticism is phenomenal and we think she has a very high ceiling to keep improving. I love watching her run the slide as I think it is one of her best weapons. She is so smooth on the court in every aspect of the game. In my opinion, she will have her choice of schools to attend in a few years. There might be taller players or players who may have a little more power, but this youngster is more polished at this age and will only get better with time. When it comes to being technically sound in the middle position, she is one of the best in the state. Please congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the State of Texas.
Caitlin Hefner Caitlin Hefner 6'2" | MB Westlake | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-1 Middle (HS: Westlake/Club: Austin Juniors/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Caitlin to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 17th best overall prospect and 4th best middle in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays at Austin Westlake High School and for the awesome Austin Juniors. I watched her very closely in Kansas City at the Triple Crown NIT and she was very impressive. Miss Hefner’s size and blocking ability is one of her greatest attributes. When I watched her team in Kansas City they were trying to push the middles at a true zero tempo which was impressive. She drives her feet super hard into the ground to create vicious momentum. Her length in her extremities allows her to be a force on both ends of the court. If Austin Juniors continues to have her as a key factor in their offense, they will go very far. Stay tune to more on Caitlin as we will be watching very closely this weekend at the Tour Finals. Please congratulate her on being chosen as one of the best middles in the state.
