Top Available ’22s and ’23s Headed to Battle at the Bay: Part 2

<p>The Battle at the Bay is mere days away and it is going to be a high-level tournament with some top teams attending. The 17s and 18s division is stacked with great teams who have had success on both a regional and national level.</p> <p>Here are some (more) top available ‘22s and ‘23s who will be playing at Battle at the Bay this weekend.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="81321" first="Grace" last="Schneider"] – Outside Hitter – Class of 2022 – Sting 18 Gold</h3> <p>Grace is a high-flying outside who has had a lot of success in both high school and club volleyball. She has a huge vertical and high snap on the ball. Grace has both power and finesse and has a lot of shots in her toolbox.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="81255" first="Adriana" last="Studer"] – Libero – Class of 2022 – Sting 18 Gold</h3> <p>Adriana is one of the top athletes in this class. She has great court awareness, a high volleyball IQ, and impeccable form. Adriana is both scrappy and controlled and is fearless in the back row. She is also a natural leader on the court with her communication and consistency.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="81315" first="Halie" last="Markovic"] – Right Side Hitter – Class of 2022 – Sting 18 Gold</h3> <p>Halie is a dynamic athlete who can play across the front row. She has great contact on the ball and even better shots. She is a smart and athletic player who can be utilized in multiple positions.  </p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="81266" first="Riley" last="Dahlquist"] – Middle Hitter – Class of 2022 – Sting 18 Gold</h3> <p>Riley has a huge presence at the net. She puts up a big and consistent block. Additionally, she has a lot of power and runs a fast and lethal 31. She is a talented hitter both in front of and behind the setter and her plays at the net are momentum builders.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="81276" first="Madelyn" last="Weyda"] – Outside Hitter – Class of 2022 – Sting 18 Black</h3> <p>Madelyn is explosive and has a massive vertical. She is very well-rounded as an athlete and can be impactful in both the front and back row. Madelyn mixes up her shots, is consistent on serve receive, is not afraid to take risks, and is quick on defense.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="144432" first="Kayla" last="Wigley"] – Outside Hitter – Class of 2022 – Sting 18 Black</h3> <p>Kayla is powerful and efficient. She manufactures kills and is reliable in even the toughest moments. Every time she touches the ball she works to earn points or put the opponent out of system. Kayla is also talented in the back row.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="57287" first="Tatum" last="Baldwin"] – Setter – Class of 2022 – Sting 18 White</h3> <p>Tatum has a lot of power as a setter. She can push the ball pin to pin from nearly anywhere on the court. She has great ball control and soft hands. She runs a great tempo ball and is very consistent with her sets.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="91900" first="Maya" last="Wegand"] – Outside Hitter – Class of 2023 – Impact 18 National</h3> <p>Maya is great in transition and very quick on her feet. She can pick up a ball on defense and transition quickly before putting the ball down. She is smart and savvy with the ball and has a lot of experience playing at a high level.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="184772" first="Olivia" last="Daane"] – Middle Blocker – Class of 2023 – Impact 18 National</h3> <p>Olivia is an athlete with a ton of potential. She is talented, dedicated, and has great fundamentals. She continues to impress every time I see her play.
