April was a busy month for national qualifying tournaments across the country. We will take a tour around the U.S. to see how the 15s age division sorted out for Kansas and Missouri teams.

Show Me

[program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 15 Black took care of business and earned their open bid at MEQ last month. That didn't stop them from coming out clicking on all cylinders to finish runner up at Show Me. A team that found success as 14s are peaking at the right time behind the play of [player_tooltip player_id="153934" first="Emma" last="Christian"], [player_tooltip player_id="173382" first="Ashlee" last="Chavez"], [player_tooltip player_id="154037" first="Abigail" last="Riggs"], and company. HPSTL 15 Royal took advantage of the trickle down to grab an open bid with a fifth place finish. They went 7-3 on the weekend with good play from Harper Highfill and [player_tooltip player_id="169895" first="Tara" last="Greenberry"].

[program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 15-1 journeyed down to the USA Division to ensure they captured a bid during the qualifying season. They finished with a runner-up performance going 9-2, with both losses to Iowa teams . Apex 15-1 grabbed one of the two bids in the Liberty Division. The Heart of America region team from Springfield had a solid showing going 8-1.

Lone Star

After [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 15-1 earned their bid they ventured back to the Open Division in Dallas in hopes of the upgrade. They had a good showing, going 5-3 but a 1-2 day 1 knocked them out of bid contention. They would finish 18th. [player_tooltip player_id="173388" first="Maren" last="Carter"] and [player_tooltip player_id="173385" first="Mikenna" last="Matzeder"] are players to continue to keep an eye on.

Jumping to the American Division, Invasion 15 Blue would be the highest finishing team from our coverage area with a 9th place finish after going 7-1 while losing in the first round of Gold Bracket play. Tatum Hooton had a good weekend.

Windy City

Like a broken record, [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 15 Black did [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 15 Black things with another runner-up showing at Chicago. They went 8-1, dropping their only match to eventual champion Circle City 15 Purple. [player_tooltip player_id="173384" first="Jenna" last="McClure"], Isabel Glover, and Epifania Salamasina are just a few more names to add to a deep roster of contributors.

Mizuno Club North 15-1 already owned a Liberty Bid from NEQ but essentially double qualified with a second place finish at WIndy City, going 8-1. Ava Glaeser and Camryn Lee are playing good ball.
