The Class of 2025 is approaching on the “no longer freshmen” stage of their club season.

The remainder of club season will springboard into another prep season where 2025 prospects can really start to breakout from the pack.

For Friday’s Motor City Madness Showcase, this is a big opportunity for the 2025’s that signed up. Here’s a look at who will be on hand looking to steal the show in Pontiac.

OH [player_tooltip player_id="156284" first="Gabriella" last="Babinski"], South Lyon East/Michigan Elite: Babinski has a real powerful shot and has shown the ability to hit her spots on attacks. Being able to show some different speeds and swing angles on Friday will be a big feather in her cap. Her athleticism has her as a threat to succeed at multiple positions, but her explosiveness sets her apart as a hitter.

OH [player_tooltip player_id="156287" first="Isabelle" last="Busignani"], Marian/Michigan Elite: Busignani is set to be one of the top players in this class. She’s already got tremendous length and is getting great coaching while at Marian. With the Mustangs graduating a lot from its two-time defending state champs, Busignani is in line for a breakout 2022. She is sure to catch a lot of eyes on Friday with her ability to mix up her shots and be so dominant at the net.

MH [player_tooltip player_id="156292" first="Jessica" last="Costlow"], SMCC/Michigan Elite: Costlow has already caught the eyes of many for her play at SMCC, the D3 runner-up in 2021. Though she’s listed as a middle, she’s got a complete skillset. She plays with a high court IQ and is able to vary the speed of her attacks to best finish points. Costlow is definitely a gamer.

S Allison Strickland, Rootstown/Elite Sports (Ohio): Strickland is one of few setters in the 2025 class that will be at this event, so it’s a great chance to showcase herself in front of new coaches in the Midwest. The Ohio product already has a lot of big-match experience at the high school level and should be poised to play at a high level on Friday.
