Among the top young high school volleyball players in Central Kentucky, Ellison is an athletic defensive standout. Productive, Ellison can deliver as both a defensive specialist and a libero. </p> <p><strong>Abbey Potter</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist from Lexington Christian Academy. Potter has shown the ability to produce as a back row hitter. Possessing solid defensive skills, Potter is a reliable player at her position. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158352" first="Isabel" last="Romero"]</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist/libero from Lexington Catholic High School. Romero possesses strong passing skills and defensive skills. Versatile, Romero turns the first touch into a solid pass to the setter regularly. </p> <p><strong>Kinley Verhoven</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist from Tates Creek High School. Verhoven has displayed the ability to play in the front row if needed. Quick, Verhoven moves well from side to side and covers the court extensively. </p> <p><strong>Grace Wells</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist from Scott County High School. Wells digs and pursues -consistently. A player with solid back row skills, Wells is quick-reacting and can hit from the back row reliably. </p>
