<p>Defensive specialists from the Class of 2024 made impacts for teams across the 15th Region throughout the 2021 high school volleyball season. </p>
<p>A look at five 2024 15th Region defensive specialists to watch follows. </p>
<p><strong>Alyssa Clevinger</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist/libero from Johnson Central High School. Quick, Clevinger covers the court thoroughly. Clevinger can produce as both a defensive specialist and a libero. </p>
<p><b>Ally Huffman </b>is a sophomore defensive specialist/outside hitter from Lawrence County High School. Huffman can hit and deliver from various parts of the court. Athletic, Huffman is a productive hitter from both the back row and the front row. </p>
<p><strong>Ashlee Phillips</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist from Belfry High School. Phillips showed improvement during the 2021 high school volleyball season. A consistent defensive player, Phillips digs and pursues well. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158365" first="Courtlin" last="Phillips"]</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist/outside hitter/opposite from East Ridge High School. Phillips possesses solid back row skills. Versatile, Phillips can deliver in the front row and hit from either side of the net. </p>
<p><strong>Maddy Wade i</strong>s a sophomore defensive specialist/libero from Floyd Central High School. Wade has shown the ability to dig an opponent’s attack routinely. A player with a solid all-around skill set, Wade can set accurately if needed. </p>
