<p>A look at five 2025 14th Region defensive specialists to watch follows.</p>
<p><strong>Brooke Baker</strong> is a freshman defensive specialist/libero from Breathitt County High School. Poised to take on a larger role for team in the 2022 high school volleyball season, Baker has displayed athleticism and solid defensive skills. Baker is quick and makes defensive plays consistently.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159352" first="Alyssa" last="Dixon"]</strong> is a freshman libero from Perry County Central High School. Among the key contributors for Perry County Central throughout the 2021 high school volleyball season, Dixon thrives defensively. Athletic, Dixon covers the court thoroughly and makes challenging digs routinely. </p>
<p><strong>Kennedy Mullins</strong> is a freshman defensive specialist from Jackson City High School. Mullins is a productive back row hitter who digs well. Agile, Mullins moves well and uses quickness to produce defensively. </p>
<p><strong>Trinity Price</strong> is a freshman defensive specialist/setter from Lee County High School. Price possesses solid back row skills and delivers from her defensive position regularly. A player with a diverse skill set, Price is a reliable passer with strong communication skills. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159310" first="Sydney" last="Stidham"]</strong> is a freshman libero from Knott County Central High School. Stidham turns the first touch into a solid pass to the setter routinely. An experienced defensive player, Stidham can set when needed. </p>
