However, with the class drawing a lot of national attention, there are still some prospects who may be getting lost in the shuffle a bit.
Here’s five names to keep note of as we should be hearing a lot from them leading up to 2025.
Aubree Calloway Aubree Calloway 5'9" | OH Bronson | 2025 State MI , OH Bronson
A multi-sport athlete, Calloway looks to be another in a great line of Bronson players. She was very strong at the net defensively with 72 blocks in her freshman season, but also showed a lot of promise with her attacks. Hitting .230 while taking on a lot of swings for a freshman, Calloway looks to have the poise and confidence to keep Bronson a top contender in D3.
Olivia Grenadier Olivia Grenadier 6'1" | MB Country Day | 2025 State #91 Nation MI , MH Country Day/Legacy
Country Day has been stacked at the middle position for years and Grenadier should ensure that that continues for more seasons to come. With 6’1” size, she already shows the explosiveness and form that have been key traits of some of her DCD peers. Getting to learn and compete with the likes of them will raise her game rapidly.
Hannah Heiss Hannah Heiss 5'9" | OH Montague | 2025 State MI , OH Western Michigan Christian
Heiss was part of a big freshmen duo for WMC this past fall. She showcased a great all-around skillset that included a powerful attack and graceful defense. The team turned to her for a big role during the D3 semifinals, and will be turning to her for a big role in the years to come.
Abby Leffring Abby Leffring 6'0" | OH West Michigan Christian | 2025 State MI , OH Western Michigan Christian
Like Heiss, Leffring was an integral part to WMC’s No. 1 ranking throughout much of the 2021 prep season. Though WMC had plenty of fire power, she proved to be a great compliment to the offense and defense. In a sign of what’s to come for the program, she showed a lot of all-around skill and a great comfort level in big matches.
Keira McNutt Keira McNutt 5'9" | DS/L Mercy | 2025 State MI , OH, DS/L Mercy/L2
McNutt is an outside/DS option that is part of a very talented 2025 class at Mercy. A real gamer, McNutt plays with a lot of energy and passion. She’s eager to challenge herself and make the tough plays for her team. That determination carries over into her offensive skills as well, where she can deliver attacks with a lot of velocity.
