<p>The 12th Region features several versatile high school volleyball players, some of whom are from the Class of 2023. </p>
<p>Here are five versatile 2023 12th Region players to watch. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="157474" first="Sydney" last="Alley"]</strong> is a junior outside hitter/defensive specialist from Wayne County High School. Alley possesses solid jumping ability and elevates well at the net. A player with a diverse skill set, Alley produces offensively and defensively frequently. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="127201" first="Keelee" last="King"]</strong> is a junior setter/right side hitter from Rockcastle County High School. King runs the offense successfully and makes quick decisions on the court. Able to hit from the right side of the net, King digs for quick attacks routinely. </p>
<p><strong>Halle Mayfield</strong> is a junior setter/defensive specialist from Pulaski County High School. Mayfield possesses strong communication skills and is a vocal leader. Quick, Mayfield covers the court thoroughly and delivers accurate passes. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106671" first="Ashleigh" last="Messick"]</strong> is a junior outside hitter/defensive specialist from West Jessamine High School. Messick adjusts well to sets coming from any location and thrives as a go-to hitter. She excels as a hitter in both the front row and the back row. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="126317" first="Katie" last="Shaw"]</strong> is a junior defensive specialist/outside hitter from Southwestern High School. Shaw is a strong back row hitter who leads defensively. Able to produce as both a defensive specialist and an outside hitter, Shaw completes attack hits successfully. </p>
