Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have just made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Briana Raney [2022] 5-5 Libero (HS: Oak Ridge/Club: Woodlands Revolution/ Verbal: Stephen F Austin)
Bri is currently an unranked prospect in the 2022 Class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is an all around player from Oak Ridge High School and also Woodlands Revolution based out of North Houston. She is listed as a defensive specialist/libero but she has been known to play front row when her team needs her to. She is extremely athletic and has an outstanding vertical approach touch and she uses that athleticism well in the back row also as she extends her defensive range to dig. Her speed is one aspect that catches our attention in every aspect of the game. We are proud to announce that Miss Raney has decided to play division one college volleyball at Stephen F Austin University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.
Cecily Gooch Cecily Gooch 6'3" | MB Highland Park | 2023 State #183 Nation TX [2023] 6-2 Middle/Right Side (HS: Highland Park/Club: Drive Nation/Verbal: Michigan)
Ceci is currently ranked as the 35th best prospect in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. Miss Gooch stars at Highland Park HS and for Drive Nation 17 Red. We have written about her a few times and here is a refresher of what we wrote about her play at a tourney we saw her at in person, “Miss Gooch moved over to the right side this past weekend and absolutely housed her opponents routinely. She used every bit of her six foot two frame to punish everyone that she faced this weekend. I loved how her blocks ignited such a fire for her team when they needed it the most. Ice water definitely runs through her veins as she looks so fired up when she plays. It was super fun to watch her do her thing. She will be a huge factor for them in whichever position they use her as she is one of the most versatile players in the age group.” We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at the University of Michigan. Based off of what we have seen for the past two years, we know that she will be an impact player from the moment she steps foot on campus. Please help us congratulate Miss Gooch on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.
Peighton Serda Peighton Serda 5'11" | OH Boswell | 2022 State TX [2022] 5-11 Right Side/Outside (HS: Boswell/Club: Drive Nation/Verbal: Oklahoma Christian University)
Miss Serda is currently ranked as the 35th best overall prospect in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is a stellar attacker from Boswell High School and the well-known Drive Nation volleyball program out of the north Texas area. She is very well known in the volleyball world because of her superb and high-flying attacking ability. She is one of the hardest players to block because of her hang time and raw power. Peighton is one of the most prolific scorers in high school volleyball and one of the main reasons for her high school team’s success. We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at the Oklahoma Christian University. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of player at the next level.
