Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have just made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Morgan Howard [2023] 5-11 Setter (HS: Colleyville Heritage/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: University of Louisiana at Monroe)
Morgan is currently an unranked prospect in the 2023 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She is a fantastic setter from Colleyville Heritage High School and also plays club for Dallas Skyline. I love how she is able to jump set and fool the blockers consistently. What stands out is her volleyball IQ as she is able to see the blockers and set to the weak side to set up her hitters on one on ones. She has excellent location on out of system sets to both pins as she is able to go against flow really well. She will do really well at the next level in a few years. We are proud to announce that Miss Howard has decided to play college volleyball at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.
Lillian Bickley Lillian Bickley 5'11" | MB Eaton | 2022 State TX [2022] 5-11 Middle (HS: Eaton/Club: Texas Pistols/Verbal: Lubbock Christian University)
Lily is currently ranked as the 138th best overall prospect in the 2022 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She is a solid middle from V.R. Eaton High School and also plays club for Texas Pistols. She was a key contributor for her Texas Pistols club squad as they won the USA division of the Lone Star Classic and earned a bid to nationals. I love her body control and solid right arm that she displays while playing the middle position. She has the power to put the ball down from many different angles at the next level. This is one young lady that I think can do some serious damage at multiple positions if given the opportunity. We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at Lubbock Christian University. Please help us congratulate Miss Bickley on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.
Brianna Ornelas [2022] 6-0 Middle (HS: Cornerstone Christian/Club: Alamo/Verbal: University of Dallas)
Miss Ornelas is currently an unranked prospect in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is a middle from Cornerstone Christian School and club volleyball at Alamo. Bri brings a lot of power from her strong frame out of the middle position. She hits the corners very well to score for her squad due to her ability to control her hand contact. I really like how she creates and utilizes momentum in her approach. It really helps to add to the awesome power that she already possesses. She will be a true stopper with her size at the next level as she is a fantastic blocker who patrols the net very well. We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at the University of Dallas. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of player at the next level.
