They deserve it because they have been playing well all season at the USA level, finishing third and fifth. They even have several open tournaments under their belt going into GJNC’s. They will be incontention for a medal this weekend, and look to capitalize off of their sucessful season with a gold ball.
One of the premier starters for AP 15 Adidas is middle blocker Ashley Euston. Ashley works really hard for her team in offense, with most of her kills coming from defensive transition plays. She hits a variety of sets from all over the floor, and can put a ball away from the pin. Standing at 6’0, she also poses a big block and takes up a lot of space at the net.
Brinkley Reeves Brinkley Reeves 5'11" | OH San Marcos | 2025 TX is one of the outside hitters for AP, and while she doesn’t pack a hard punch, she does offer her team consitancy, and a lot of kills. She has long arms and contacts the ball high, often getting kills from tools. Harper Luthy is another strong pin hitter for AP. She hits well from pin to pin, and puts a lot of balls away down the line. She also gets some action in serve receive as well. Look for these two hitters to be a big part of the offense this week.
Chanelle Cancel Chanelle Cancel 5'6" | S Ellison | 2025 TX is the full package when it comes to a top team setter. She plays defense well and can dig a hard driven ball. She also has a ton of aces on the season. She is very strong and jump sets almost every ball she can get her feet too, and that helps make her middles successful. Chanelle and team will be working hard this weekend to bring home a title back to the Austin area.
