<p>What a fun and exciting first day of volleyball at nationals for the 14s and 15s divisions! Nerves and excitement were running high and the gym was buzzing with energy. There were some awesome athletes who impressed on Day 1 and I barely felt like I was able to see enough! I cannot wait for three more days of volleyball at these age divisions.</p>
<p>Here are some Top Performers from the 15 Patriot division.</p>
<h3>[player_tooltip player_id="195149" first="KYLIE" last="YODER"] – Libero – Team Pineapple 15 Green – Indiana</h3>
<p>Kylie had a huge presence on the court. Not only did she have beautiful hands in out-of-system plays, but she also had crazy good ball control. She read the court very well and set herself up for success in every play. She was all over the court and kept a lot of tough balls alive.</p>
<h3>Ella O’Neill – Right Side – Attack 15 Select - Illinois</h3>
<p>Ella was very engaged on the court and always ready to put a ball down. She had a ton of power on the pin and was a go-to hitter today. She manufactured a good number of points on the right side and played very well.</p>
<h3>[player_tooltip player_id="178340" first="Caroline" last="LeRoy"] – Outside Hitter – Milwaukee Sting 15 Silver – Wisconsin</h3>
<p>Caroline had a lot of hustle on the court. She never gave up for a ball and pursued everything on both offense and defense. She mixed up her shots super well and was hard to read on the pin. She had an explosive approach and went big on every play.</p>
<h3>Maya Dingle – Right Side – SG Elite 15 Elite – California</h3>
<p>Maya had a killer deep cross court shot. She could perfectly find the seam between setters and middle back and challenged every team she went up against today. She has good power and is overall just a very smart athlete on the pin.</p>
<h3>Julia Ondo – Setter – Buckeye 15 Red American – Ohio</h3>
<p>Julia had super clean hands and moved the ball around very well. She was naturally confident on the court and ran the offense very well. Even in tough moments, she was a leader on the court and had very clean and crisp movement.</p>
<h3>Samantha Holmer – Outside Hitter – Seattle Juniors 15 – Washington</h3>
<p>Samantha really impressed me with her big vertical and consistent contact on the ball. She was impactful and a go-to hitter who knew when to rip a ball and when to find a good shot on the court.</p>
<h3>[player_tooltip player_id="194214" first="Haylee" last="Wenner"] – Libero – Mintonette Sports m.52 – Ohio</h3>
<p>Haylee had a beautiful platform and clean angles on her passes. She had awesome fundamentals and great court awareness which makes her impressive as a libero. Haylee brought a lot of consistency in the back row for this Mintonette team.</p>
<h3>Hannah Allman – Outside Hitter – ATOMIC 15 Smack – Arizona</h3>
<p>Hannah was everything a six-rotation outside should be. She could pass, swing, and transition efficiently to earn points. Her defense was great, and she was aggressive at the net. Her ability to earn points was a huge asset for her team today.</p>
