<p>A look at six 2023 11th Region defensive specialists to watch follows. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="196542" first="Lily" last="Dobbins"]</strong> is a senior defensive specialist/libero from Madison Central High School. Dobbins is among the leaders for her high school volleyball team, delivering defensively each time she’s on the court. Quick, Dobbins covers the court thoroughly. </p>
<p><strong>Jayla Harris</strong> is a senior defensive specialist from Scott County High School. Harris possesses solid defensive skills and passing skills. Athletic, Harris covers the court thoroughly and makes defensive plays routinely. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106676" first="Peyton" last="Hollon"]</strong> is a senior defensive specialist from Frederick Douglass High School. Hollon is a productive back row player who digs and pursues well. Capable of making an impact from the front row as well, Hollon provides quality passes. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106674" first="Emma" last="McDowell"]</strong> is a senior defensive specialist from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. McDowell possesses solid ball control skills and can produce from various parts of the court. A reliable passer, McDowell is skilled at positioning to make solid digs. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="157477" first="Ella" last="Spratt"]</strong> is a senior defensive specialist/outside hitter from Tates Creek High School. Versatile, Spratt possesses a diverse skill set and jumping skills. Agile, Spratt moves well from side to side and delivers accurate passes to teammates. </p>
<p><strong>Alexia Washburn</strong> is a senior defensive specialist from Lafayette High School. Washburn anticipates attacks from opposing players well, making digs from her position regularly. Able to make an impact from both the back row and the front row, Washburn contributes in multiple categories regularly. </p>
