Five Versatile 2024 Region 8 Players to Watch

Region 8 will feature several talented juniors, some of whom are versatile players, during the 2022 high school volleyball season.   A look at five versatile 2024 Region 8 players to watch follows.   [player_tooltip player_id='128200' first='Emma' last='Closurdo'] is a sophomore outside hitter/setter for South Oldham High School. A player with a diverse skill set, Closurdo can deliver both offensively and defensively. Agile, Closurdo digs for quick attacks routinely.   [player_tooltip player_id='208894' first='Catherine' last='Dabney'] is a sophomore middle hitter/right side hitter for Woodford County High School. Dabney provides length at the net and is a consistent hitter who can block regularly, both individually and with teammates. In addition, Dabney delivers fast attacks regularly.   Alisha Hawkins is a right side hitter/middle hitter for Simon Kenton High School. Hawkins can produce on both offense and defense. The versatile Hawkins completes blocks individually and with teammates along with digging for quick attacks routinely.   Sariah Nall is a sophomore outside hitter/right side hitter for Shelby County High School. Nall can produce as both a go-to hitter and a primary passer. A player with strong jumping skills, Nall possesses solid back row skills. Spainer is a reliable hitter who can hit from either side of the net. Spainer elevates well at the net and finishes hits regularly.
