<p>We are taking a quick look at how the Kansas teams fared at nationals this year. With teams spread out over numerous divisions, many teams had good showings over their four days.</p>

<p>[program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] had a tough showing, managing to scratch out two wins over the course of the four days in Indianapolis. They went 2-3 in pool play, which proved good enough for a third-place pool finish but they found difficulty in round two pools dropping both matches. Southpaw opposite [player_tooltip player_id='173382' first='Ashlee' last='Chavez'] had a good showing and continues to develop into a powerful pin. </p>

<p><strong><em>Mavs KC 15-1</em></strong></p>

<p>Mavs also went 2-3 in pool play but they ended up with a fifth place pool finish and send them to the second grouping for round 2 pools. They were able to garner another two wins over the final two days to finish 4-5. [player_tooltip player_id='154041' first='Logan' last='Parks'] had a good tournament run. </p>

<p><strong>USA </strong></p>

<p><strong><em>[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last=''] 15 Elite</em></strong></p>

<p>15 Elite had a good run in the USA division and ended up in 12th place. If you recall, they went 4-1 in pool play over the first two days. They followed that up by going 1-2 in their next pool play which sent them to the silver bracket. They swept AP 15 Adidas in the first match before falling to Milwaukee Sting 15 Black in two. </p>

<p><strong><em>[program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 15-1</em></strong></p>

<p>Power would end up 4th in their opening pool and stay in grouping 1 on the re-pool. They ran into tough teams from Iowa and Texas and went 0-2. They did find the win column again in their crossover match but dropped their final one in the bronze bracket and end the championships 3-6. </p>

<p><strong>American</strong></p>

<p><strong><em>Topeka Saints 15-1</em></strong></p>

<p>The Topeka team had a very strong season and capped that off with an 11th place showing in Indy. They went through four days capturing 8 wins to only 3 defeats. They went 6-1 in opening pool play. They moved on to crossover play where they were able to get the all-important first match win in three sets over DaKine but dropped the match that would send them to the gold brackets to Metro. While in the silver bracket, they won their first match before losing the second to Northern Lights 15-2. </p>

<p><strong><em>Mavs KC 15-2</em></strong></p>

<p>The Mavs with 4-5 over their four days. They earned all of their wins in opening pool play going 4-3. Their tournament run would end with losses in the crossover round and opening play of bronze bracket play. </p>

<p><strong>Freedom</strong></p>

<p><strong><em>Air Capital Aces</em></strong></p>

<p>The highest finish of any Kansas team goes to the Air Capital Aces in the Freedom Division with a 9th place showing. They were 4-1 in opening pool play, then went 1-1 in their next pool before dropping the crossover match to be sent to the silver bracket. 15 Black took care of business winning both matches in straight sets to earn the silver title. </p>

<p>[program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] also matched ACA's 7 wins in the Freedom Division. Five of those came in a perfect opening pool domination. Unfortunately, all three of their losses came in the form of grouping 1 pool play and their crossover match. They ended the tournament with a good showing winning their Flight 1 Bracket. </p>
