They have worked their tails off in school ball, in club season, and in off season. They deserved every vote they received. Let’s take a look at the 10 players from the east side of the state that made the final top 20 poll.
- Jada Bishop Jada Bishop 6'0" | OH Owasso | 2024 State OK – She plays for UPVBC 16 Open and is a part of the loaded junior class for Owasso High School. She will be a big factor in how far Owasso goes this year. If she can play at a really high level on the outside, especially in out of system situations, then the Rams could really scare all of 6A.
- Tatum Daughtry– She played for OC 17 Select and starts for Skiatook High School. She is a very consistent option for the Bulldogs. She does well to transition and gives herself a large range of option to hit.
- Faith Helton– She plays for the Mustangs of Oologah. They typically play a really solid schedule. If she steps up and gets some timely kills, look for them to get a couple big upsets on the season.
- Kiya Colvin- She plays for UPVBC 16 Open and plays for Owasso High School. Watch out for bombs when the Rams are in system! Opposing middles will likely be late often to the pins because of worrying about her all game long.
- Kynli Kirkendoll Kynli Kirkendoll 6'0" | MB Jenks | 2024 State OK She plays for Jenks High School and Tulsa Power 15-1, arguably the two best teams in the state of Oklahoma. She has really come along with her skills. I am really looking forward to seeing how much she grows with another school and club season under her belt.
- Olivia Kannegiesser- She plays for Skiatook High School and OC 18-2 Exposure. She will look to keep the Bulldogs in system with her soft hands and smart reads. She does a great job from the service line and staying neutral with her sets. She will be in the mix for all conference at the end of the year.
- Syndey Smith- She plays for Union High School and UPVBC 17 Open. She is as athletic as they come. Her vertical is scary high. Her playing on such a good club season really pushed her skills to another level. She will be in the All-State talks at the end of the year.
- Jayden White- She plays for Claremore Seq High School. First year head coach, Zoe Kersey, will look to this middle to help set the tone and start the rebuild for the Eagles. She will work hard and be available as much as possible.
- Kirsten Harper- She plays for Owasso High School and UPVBC 17 Pink. She will be a huge reason for Owasso’s success, holding down the fort in the back row and giving plenty of chances for their gang of crazy good hitters to put balls away.
- Ella Ramsey– She plays for Claremore High School and OC 15 Elite. She was a huge part of her club team’s success and got a ton of balls sent her way. She has a tremendous amount of power in her swing/serve and works her tail off defensively. Only being a sophomore, she will likely be in the starting mix of a lot of seasoned upperclassmen. If she can control the power and mentally be strong, she could be an all conference player early and often in her career.
