Below are key Tiger standouts from the Dayton Invitational.
Brown is a key player for the Tigers as an all-around threat. She took control of most matches swinging on the outside. Brown has a beautiful, heavy snap on the ball and is the obvious go-to hitter. Whether she has a hitting or setting role, her confidence and fierce presence is hard to miss.
Kaiden Medford

Medford was another impressive outside that took control with power and smart play. Particularly, she executed line and seam shots on critical points. Most of those those swings were deceptive because of her crafty snap. It’s refreshing to see hitters swing with purpose and placement instead of just solely power.
Brooklyn Spikes
Brooklyn Spikes
Spikes was immediately eye catching because she’s an athletic middle that brings size and speed. She did a fantastic job moving pin to pin and finishing with big presses. As a middle, she prioritizes her block and works just as hard in transition. Readily making herself available and closing every time on the block, her work ethic really shines.
Emma Malak
Emma Malak
Malak is easy to spot and hear. She was one of the most vocal players at the tournament and was a constant voice for Conroe. Malak especially communicated well with hitters directing them where to swing, resulting in big points. Although she played left back, she was quick to play inside balls as well, covering most of the court.
