Continue ReadingWe have been watching the 2025 class very closely throughout the entire club season and used the data of wins and losses, stats, awards, in person tournaments, matches and of course the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be moved up in our prestigious State Rankings through their play on the court.
Jacy Carrejo Jacy Carrejo 5'11" | S Leander | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-11 Setter/Right Side (HS: Leander/Club: Austin Skyline//Verbal: Uncommitted)
We are proud to announce that Jacy as moved up the rankings due to her production on the court this entire club season. She went from being ranked as the 36th best overall prospect to now being ranked as the 29th best overall prospect in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays at Leander High School and for the awesome Austin Skyline club program. I have written about her before and here is a little from the latest article, “Jacy is a very skilled setter who ran a 5-1 offense all tournament long. The ball comes out of her hands very smoothly and she is capable of setting every location along the route tree for each position with accuracy. The one aspect that will keep this team scoring at a high clip is when she delivers the outside set at a quick tempo. It is unstoppable for an entire match and she delivers it on time and accurately to her left sides. I love how she distributes the ball to all of her amazing hitters. She moves it around very well and has a very high volleyball IQ on who to set during which part of the set. But what truly stands out is her competitiveness. This young lady is a beast on the court and doesn’t back down from anyone. I would take her into battle with me any day. I am not sure that there is a setter in her age group that runs a faster tempo to the left side so consistently. It is due to that set repeatability that I am so high on her.” It wasn’t if I was going to move her up, it was just a matter of where. She showed so much potential all season and solidified her movement with her play at nationals. The sky is the limit with this one and she has proven to be one of the top seven setters in the state of Texas. Please congratulate her on the movement and being listed as one of the top players in this wonderful state.
Sydnee Peterson Sydnee Peterson 5'10" | RS Byron Nelson | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-10 Right Side (HS: Byron Nelson/Club: Texas Advantage Volleyball/Verbal: Uncommitted)
We are proud to announce that Sydnee has moved up the rankings. She went from being ranked as the 39th best overall to now being listed as the 30th best overall prospect in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays at Byron Nelson high school and also for the Texas Advantage Volleyball club. I was lucky enough to watch this young lady dominate at the net all club season long from their very first tournament of the year to the last one at nationals and she improved greatly. Dynamic would be one of the best words to describe just how gifted she is. She is very explosive off of the ground and while with her right arm blasting away at every opponent. It will be very hard for pin blockers to shut her down if they don’t turn their hands in because of how much power she has with her arm swing. I also had the privilege to meet her on the sidelines and she is hilarious. Her teammates love her and that is a great sign for her future college in a few years. There is no doubt in my mind she will continue to move up the rankings. She has moved up to the second best right side in her grad class and we hope that you help us congratulate her on the movement up the rankings.
Ava Steffe Ava Steffe 6'1" | RS Memorial | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-1 Outside (HS: Frisco Memorial/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)
We are proud to announce that Ava has made a jump in the Rankings. She went from being listed as the 35th overall prospect to now being listed as the 31st best overall prospect in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Frisco Memorial High School and the nationally recognized Dallas Skyline volleyball program. I watched her blossom all season long in person at a few tourneys and also through great highlight reels being updated constantly. She was playing up an age group and thriving in the open level environment. Her ceiling is very high as she showed that she can produce at either pin at a high level. Miss Steffe possesses explosive power and slick ball control on the offensive end. As she continues to progress in the back row, she should have no problem continuing to move up the rankings. Now that she will be playing with her true age group, she will shine even brighter as a focal point of an offense. We will be following her very closely. Please help us congratulate her on moving up the Texas State Rankings.
