Class 3 is a little harder to predict rankings because the success factor comes into play more than for Class 1 and 2. Blair Oaks returns enough to be dangerous again, and Stafford and Springfield Catholic could sneak in there and win it all. Here is a look at my top ten list starting with 6-10.

6. California Pintos 25-8-1

A loss in the state playoffs to Odessa ended another great season for the Pintos, but the reload is on in California. With the loss of three seniors from that team, four others returned that contributed to the season.

Key Returners:

[player_tooltip player_id='216432' first='Isabella' last='Kincaid'] 234 kills and 246 digs

[player_tooltip player_id='152139' first='Emma' last='Whitson'] 123 kills, 298 digs, and 491 assists

Lauren Friedrich 195 kills and 38 blocks

7. Valle Catholic Warriors 32-5-3

Valle made the final four again last year in Class 3, and if they stay in Class 3 again should complete the final four. Lost from the team are a dominating middle and setter, but the Warriors reload yearly. This year will be no different. After watching them play this summer, I see they are up to the same tricks.

Key Returners:

[player_tooltip player_id='195376' first='Makayla' last='Joggerst'] 168 kills and 232 digs

Macy Wolk 180 kills and 40 blocks

[player_tooltip player_id='168910' first='Ade' last='Weiler'] 126 kills and 332 digs

8. Notre Dame de Sion Storm 17-16

The Storm came on just in time last season to make a push to the final four and finished in 4th place. If they stay in Class 3 they will again be one to watch for come playoffs.

Key Returners:

[player_tooltip player_id='737547' first='Ava' last='Lynn'] 184 kills and 26 blocks

[player_tooltip player_id='152120' first='Kori' last='Franklin'] 140 kills and 84 blocks

Francie Keithline 288 digs

9. Forsyth Panthers 28-5-1

With the return of two top-notch 2025 players, the Panthers are in good shape for a state playoff run. Having lost to Stafford 0-3 in the first round of state playoffs, Forsyth is looking to do more damage this season.

Key Returners:

AnnaBelle Barrickman 135 kills

[player_tooltip player_id='168898' first='Savannah' last='Koen'] 181 digs and 406 kills

Kloe Hendrickson 500 digs

10. John Burroughs Bombers 23-4-5

With the loss of the best player in the state last year, the Bombers have enough to return this year to make them a state playoff team. Another team could be bumped up this year, but if they stay in Class 3, they have a shot.

Key Returners:

Aaliyah Elliot 157 kills and 70 blocks

Ellie Skale 193 kills

[player_tooltip player_id='171208' first='Emma' last='Clark'] 830 assists
