We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to our prestigious State Rankings through their play on the court. Please welcome them with open arms.
Julia Blyashov Julia Blyashov 6'3" | OH Cathedral Catholic | 2023 State #3 Nation CA [2023] 6-3 Outside (HS: Cathedral Catholic/Club: Wave/Verbal: Stanford)
Julia is currently ranked as the 3rd best overall player according to our National Rankings. She is also listed as the best overall prospect and best outside in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Cathedral Catholic High School and for the nationally recognized Wave Volleyball club program. She is a phenom pin attacker that is very well known in the volleyball scene and is no stranger to accolades in this wonderful sport. Almost every publication has her ranked as one of the best players in the nation. She has proven herself over the years on the court with amazing production. She is currently on the USA U19 National team and has been dominant for them on the national scene. In two years on her varsity team she has amassed 384 kills on a very impressive .379 hitting percentage. She also has tallied 52 blocks, 237 digs and 60 aces. She has committed to Stanford and will join their roster soon. Please help us congratulate her on being named the best player in the State of California.
Claire Little Claire Little 6'2" | OH Vista Murrieta | 2023 State #46 Nation CA [2023] 6-2 Outside (HS: Vista Murieta/Club: Coast/Verbal: BYU)
Claire is currently ranked as the 41st best overall player according to our National Rankings. She is also listed as the 2nd best overall prospect and 2nd best outside in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Vista Murieta High School and for the nationally recognized Coast Volleyball club program. I have been lucky enough to have watched her a few times this past club season and she has always impressed me. She is a double-double machine in every match with her stellar ball control both offensively and defensively. There is not a shot that this stud cannot make from any location on the court. In two years of varsity play she has tallied 903 kills on a .305 hitting percentage. She also has 74 blcoks, 485 digs and 74 aces. She is committed to BYU and will join their roster in a year. Stay tuned for more from Miss Little as she embarks on a fantastic senior season of high school volleyball. Please congratulate her on the wonderful achievement of being named one of the best volleyball players in the state of California in the 2023 class.
Bianka Lulic Bianka Lulic 6'5" | MB La Jolla Country Day | 2023 State #108 Nation CA [2023] 6-5 Middle (HS: La Jolla Country Day/Club: Coast/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Bianka is currently ranked as the 3rd best overall prospect and best middle in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Country Day High School and for the nationally recognized Coast Volleyball club program. This tall drink of water has been dominant every time I have watched her. She is able to run every route out of the middle with precision and pace. Her long reach and height allow her to contact the ball well above the net and blcokers will have to time it flawlessly in order to even have a chance at slowing her down. If they give her a seam, she will put it down in front of the attack line. While most taller middles are slow and lumbering in their transition and approach, Miss Lulic has tons of speed in her footwork. She is able to patrol the net with fast lateral movement while blocking. Please help us congratulate her on the wonderful achievement of being named one of the state’s best volleyball players.
