Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Shaylan Wright [2022] 5-9 Setter (HS: Smithson Valley/Club: San Antonio Juniors /Verbal: Stephen F Austin)
Shaylan is currently an unranked prospect in the 2022 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She is a fantastic setter from Smithson Valley High School and also plays club for Alamo Volleyball. She is a 1st team All –District setter who can dish some beautiful dimes all around the court. I love how she jump sets every location and not just perfect passes while setting the middle. She plays the game with a lot of fire, which lifts up her team. She has excellent aim to her middles from different angles and distances in the thirty-two location and also hits the bulls eye with her high tempo sets over and over. She will be a valuable addition to a college roster. We are proud to announce that Naomi has decided to play college volleyball at Stephen F. Austin. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.
Emma Janek [2022] 5-8 Setter (HS: Allen/Club: Madfrog ‘ last=”]’ last=”]/Verbal: St. Leo University)
Emma is currently an unranked prospect in the 2022 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She is a great setter from Allen High School and also plays club for Madfrog ‘ last=”]’ last=”]. This young lady can do it all on the court. She is primarily a setter but can swing front row in a pinch as well. She is not afraid to play as an outside if need be a she showcased this past season for Madfrog ‘ last=”]’ last=”]. Her setting skills are very fundamentally sound and she can deliver beautiful balls to each location. What I truly love about her is her ability to play defense out of any position. She has great court vision and uses great fast twitch reflexes to keep the rally alive. We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at St. Leo University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.
Madisynne McQueen [2022] 6-0 Outside (HS: Chisholm Trail/Club: Fort Worth Fire/Verbal: Northwestern State University)
Maddie is currently an unranked prospect in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is a powerful attacker from Chisholm Trail High School and plays club volleyball at Fort Worth Fire. She uses her athleticism all over the court both offensively and defensively. I like how she is a true six-rotation left side as she is able to play amazing defense out of middle back also. Her ability to rise off of the ground so fast is one great reason why she is able to be a shut down blocker. Her press is another reason why. She jumps so high that she is able to reach well over the net to seal it from would be attackers. Her power will be on full display for a college roster. We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing college volleyball at Northwestern State University. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of playing at the next level.
