She is currently averaging 4.7 kills per set while hitting .429. She has a big arm and can terminate with pace and range from all locations. Barrett also has totals of 28 digs and 11 service aces this season. She is one of the frontrunners to lead the ECC offensively this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Darby Ricketts</strong> - Little Miami<br>Leading the ECC in total offense, Ricketts had a terrific week with 51 total kills for an average of 5.1 per set. With 28 digs and seven total service aces, She is one of the best overall prospects in this conference, asserting herself well so far following the departure of some key pieces to the Panthers' effort last season when she was a second-team all-league selection.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Lexie Rucker </strong>- Wheelersburg<br>The senior had 28 kills total in Wheelersburg's two wins this week. She averaged 3.1 kills per set with 16 kills on Tuesday following by 12 kills on Thursday. She also collected double-figure digs with 11 total in their win over Portsmouth West. Last season she terminated nearly 200 kills and earned 45 service aces returning for her final season as one of the biggest threats for the Pirates. She can be a difficult match-up with her ability to swing effectively from a variety of attack points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='169125' first='Katie' last='Sowko']</strong> - Lake Catholic<br>Sowko had a solid week for the Cougars helping guide them to two wins to start their season. With a total of 25 kills she averaged 3.1 kills per set while swinging at a .305 efficiency. The 6'0 outside hitter has an aggressive arm in the air and can put a lot of pressure on the defense to read and react to the range of plays she can make in the air.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='494166' first='Jamisyn' last='Stinson']</strong> - Sheridan<br>Stinson had a big week for Sheridan helping her team earn two 3-1 wins to start their season. She totaled 32 kills on the week with 15 and 17 in their two matches respectively while also hitting at a .343 efficiency. Other contributions she made include 26 digs, seven service aces, and six total blocks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='139300' first='Alexa' last='Strandberg']</strong> - Copley<br>The junior had 28 kills over two matches this week for an average of 3.5 per set. She had highs of 20 kills in a tight 3-2 loss followed by a .583 efficiency in a 3-0 win on Thursday. Strandberg has good versatility to contribute offensively from any position.
