Hunt, one of the nation’s most sought after 2024 prospects, is among Kentucky state leaders offensively as she is averaging 6.3 kills per set while hitting .304. She sees a high volume of work and has the ability to terminate from any location as she has expanded her effectiveness at the pins to complement the damage she can do on quicker tempo options around the setter. Hunt should eclipse the 1,000 kill mark in the coming weeks. She gets it done in other areas as well as she has a career average of four blocks per match and has increased her serving pressure as she has earned 15 total aces over three matches so far in 2022.

The Thoroughbreds are off to a 2-4 start this season.
Abby Hambidge – 2024 | Madeira
The junior dual threat hitter/setter is off to a great start in 2022 as she is leading the Madeira offense averaging 4.0 kills per set while attacking at a .405 efficiency. The Mustangs are off to a 4-2 start in large part due to the contributions that Hambidge makes in a variety of areas of the game. In addition to her offensive production she also averages seven digs per match, has earned 11 service aces, and shares the setting responsibilities where she averages 3.3 assists per set.

The 5’4 setter is among state leaders early in the season in total assists with 139 for an average of 10.7 assists per set. In 2021, she posted solid numbers sharing time in her first year as a floor leader where she totaled 437 assists for the full season. She is on pace to surpass that output in the coming weeks given her expanded presence on the court to set the entirety of the Falcons’ offense this season.
