Continue ReadingWe have been watching the 2024 class very closely throughout the entire club season and used the data of wins and losses, stats, awards, in person tournaments, matches and of course the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to our prestigious State Rankings through their play on the court. Please welcome them with open arms.
Taylor Williams Taylor Williams 6'2" | RS Saint Francis | 2024 State #160 Nation CA [2024] 6-1 Outside (HS: St. Francis/Club: Vision/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Taylor is currently ranked as the 4th best overall prospect in the 2024 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at St. Francis High School Mater Dei High School and for the nationally recognized Volleyball club program. I watched this young lady twice this season at national tournaments and she wowed everyone in attendance of her match. She was the focal point of her club team’s offense and delivered each time her number was called on by her setter. Her abilities stretch across the entire court as she is a true six-rotation player and can score from anywhere. Her team runs her out of designed routes when she is in the back row and move her around to the middle of the court when she is in the front row for second tempo sets. While on the pins, she showed a lot of weapons scoring both down the line and cross-court. Miss Williams is definitely one to watch and should have no problem when it comes to college offers. Please help us congratulate her on being named the best players in the State of California.
Ayva Moi Ayva Moi 5'11" | RS Cathedral Catholic | 2024 State #72 Nation CA [2024] 5-9 Right Side (HS: Cathedral Catholic/Club: Wave/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Ayva is currently ranked as the 5th best overall prospect in the 2024 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Cathedral Catholic High School and for the nationally recognized Wave Volleyball club program. This young lady is a super high flying opposite who can bang the ball with the best of them. She has a golden right arm that is lightning fast and throttles the ball with every swing. Not many junior girls can jump without an approach and touch very high during out of system plays. Usually they need to use a full approach to gain tons of momentum in order to touch high. Miss Moi is one of those gifted athletes that can jump without an approach and still contact the ball both high and hard. Her athleticism is off the charts and we are happy to be covering her. Please congratulate her on the wonderful achievement of being named one of the best volleyball players in the state of California in the 2024 class.
Tessa Hurley Tessa Hurley 5'7" | DS/L Mater Dei | 2024 State #152 Nation CA [2024] 5-7 Libero (HS: Mater Dei/Club: Seal Beach/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Tessa is currently ranked as the 6th best overall prospect and best libero in the 2024 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Mater Dei High School and for the Seal Beach Volleyball club program. She is a floor general who plays the game with a lot of heart and stellar ball control. I love how balanced she is prior to contact. This kind of attention to detail will allow her to be very consistent in both serve receive and defense for the foreseeable future. She has a very natural and soft touch on the ball, which allows a great pass to her setter over and over. One aspect that will really make your eyes pop is how she is able to collapse on hard driven balls so easily. This will keep the ball on her side of the net as she absorbs the contact. I don’t see very many liberos in the class pushing her off of the number one spot if she continues to train and play at a high level. Stay tuned for more on Miss Hurley. Please help us congratulate her on the wonderful achievement of being named one of the state’s best volleyball players.
